Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Hopefully, you are accepting scores from the unlockable Special Mode. If so, I'd like to submit the following score.
SFKhoa - 46,100,520 - Area 9

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Just clear JSS Normal. Ranking on/off, continues, etc. doesn't matter.ratikal wrote:Special Mode? How do you unlock that?

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Sorry if I'm being dumb, but where should scores for the 360 port/emulators go then? The Eschatos thread only has Eschatos itself and Cardinal Sins, and this thread was meant for playing actually playing on the WonderSwan, which looks to be another kettle of fish altogether!

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Use Oswan. When you start the game, click ->Options->Filter->Any filter since the game won't display properly when filter is not adjusted.Aliquantic wrote:Sorry if I'm being dumb, but where should scores for the 360 port/emulators go then? Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Eschatos' Judgement Silversword port is acceptable here, if that's the answer you're looking for.
Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Next question: will there be a separate ranking for the hidden ship?

normal mode
EBR - 16,795,040 - Area 30
Mitsurugi Revenge sort of glitched on me when switching to the second form and cost me five lives before I could get rid of it. I'd certainly have defeated Divine Flow if I had carried a few more spare lives there instead of "only" three plus a recently, unexpectedly acquired set of goddamn nerves.
edit: bonus: hard mode:
EBR - 24,862,350 - Area 21
Died after the area had actually ended, for a decent end-of-area bonus and some mumbled cursing.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Why isn't there an Easy scoreboard? Either way, I'll move onto Normal once I 1cc Easy. I expect lots of dying trying to get the multiplier up.
Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Normal
SPZ - 25,046,930 - Area 31
No miss/shield until area 24. Divine Flow went well, all things considered. I have no idea what to do with Divine Expression and lost all remaining lives to its first form. :V

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
I don't see why easy mode shouldn't have a scoreboard, so here's what I have:
chum - 6,099,370 - ALL
It seems you get 500k per life upon clearing, so unless I'm missing something, most of your score should come from that in easy mode. Unfortunately, I died a lot towards the end...

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Would anyone happen to have a .sav file that has all the options unlocked? It's a pain in the ass to have to do it all again on this computer. I forgot to transfer my file over, but even then that was only like option level 20.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Massive changes at the top of the table with all these new scores!
I've actually started playing this again myself as well. Been a long time and it shows in my playing, but I am hoping to get a more decent highscore in before the end of the year at least.
Two things I want to note:
- I have changed the rules of the thread so that now Oswan scores are officially acceptable.
I still have my reservations about this because control (and display) advantages over the game on the Wonderswan Color/Crystal are quite significant. But since it's apparent that a lot of the scores that have been listed have been made on Oswan and have already been listed, I may as well make it clear that they can be used after all.
- If there's enough demand (read: at least 3 score entries) for easy mode I'll add a table.
But if I do so it could mean that all tables will get a max on score entries as to have it all compact enough.
But we'll see how goes.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
If you didn't know, the game also comes with Eschatos for Xbox 360 (released at the beginning of this year).. a lot of the recent scores are probably from that.Super Laydock wrote:- I have changed the rules of the thread so that now Oswan scores are officially acceptable.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Should we accept Eschatos scores with the sprite limit disabled? Eliminating flicker gives one a considerable advantage.
Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Easy
SPZ - 8,164,510 - ALL
Let's try Hard mode.
EDIT: Alright, got a good score. Not sure if I'll improve it just now or continue with something else.
Hard
SPZ - 36,679,670 - Area 25
Made it a little further and made it to 26 before dying.
EDIT 2:
Normal
SPZ - 28,157,670 - Area 31
Made it a little further into 31. I think I can clear this with some practice.

Even more reason to also have Oswan accepted.Zaarock wrote: If you didn't know, the game also comes with Eschatos for Xbox 360 (released at the beginning of this year).. a lot of the recent scores are probably from that.
I trust that the eschatos jss port is exactly the same game with same defaults?
No. Please see the first rule in the thread. Everything has to be default!Estebang wrote:Should we accept Eschatos scores with the sprite limit disabled? Eliminating flicker gives one a considerable advantage.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
I disagree with this assessment - flicker off is considered a valid display option for scores by the game, as evidenced by the game turning the score ranking off if you mess with any of non-default settings such as extra starting lives. If you're still unwilling to accept scores without flicker, you should remove my current scores since they were done with that display setting.Super Laydock wrote:No. Please see the first rule in the thread. EDIT: Actually, why not just ask for version used in score submissions?

Normal
SPZ - 36,468,820 - ALL - Sprite Limit OFF
Sweet victory. I got this run recorded, so it should be uploaded soon. I finished on my last life after reaching area 30 with around 10 spare lives.
EDIT: Ignore the previous score, I got something much nicer.
Normal
SPZ - 57,260,600 - ALL - Sprite Limit Off
No miss until Area 26, killed JSS with a massive multiplier for a ton of points and finished with five reserve lives on top of that for an extra 10m. I recorded this too, so it's going up on YouTube soon. That's probably my final run for this mode for the time being. Here it is.

Re: Judgement Silversword (Rebirth Edition)
Go beat Khoa to that Special Mode 1cc. You could definitely do it.
I'd post my Easy score, but I'm not satisfied with it yet. Same with my Normal score.
