You know there's a thread for this already right?

Now that I think about it, by some fluke I made it to the final stage of DDP a few days ago with absolutely no practice. I should give it another go...
I think you should eject the superplay dvd and put in the actual game.BPzeBanshee wrote: Now that I think about it, by some fluke I made it to the final stage of DDP a few days ago with absolutely no practice. I should give it another go...
My pleasure, I only ever call people shit cunts for their own benefitSkykid wrote:Yep, I did, but I have to make special thanks to Paradigm who made a comment that aggravated me so much I decided I'd finally put it in the cab and not get distracted by any other games until I cleared it.Leandro wrote:Congrats, we know how much you wanted this...
So... thanks (gritted teeth.)
I'm pretty sure the superplay would have more than the limit required for submitting to our forum's hiscore thread.ancestral-knowledge wrote:I think you should eject the superplay dvd and put in the actual game.BPzeBanshee wrote: Now that I think about it, by some fluke I made it to the final stage of DDP a few days ago with absolutely no practice. After those 2 big orange planes there are a bunch of big tanks and that's basically it.
Excellent! Keep it up!Skykid wrote:Cheers gents. Woke up this morning dreaming of 2nd loops instead of Honey Nut Loops, so I think I'm going to have another crack while the iron is hot and see if I can make that requirement again.
Thanks doodjammiejay85 wrote:Well played Skykid I haven't even beat stage 3 yet lmao![]()

Well I've pretty much sucked at getting to Hachi every day since the clear, but I think that's because I'm now more invested in scoring than clearing. I *almost* chained the whole of stage 2 yesterday and managed just under 70mil by the boss (personal best), and then proceeded to ruin my run thereafter.BPzeBanshee wrote: Excellent! Keep it up!
Approach your target and attack. Your mission starts when you're ready.

Oh, no that's not a clear unfortunately, died on Hachi. :/Animaitor wrote:Great improvement! Did you get the chance to continue to the second loop this time?

Not sure, I think I may have lost one on the stage 3 boss, then a fuckload on stage 4 just being stupid. Whenever I know I'm on an improvement nerves tend to get the better of me. I'm trying to use as few bombs as pos to see if I can trigger the 2nd loop again (should I ever actually clear it again.Chaos Phoenixma wrote: When did you first die or bomb in that run? I know I should be able to beat that score if I get a good run, just a matter of doing so. A No Miss No Bomb till at least the stage 4 boss would go a long way for that for me, but I always screw some easy thing up.

Just got the 360 version and finally got a chance to play it tonight. I could get to stage 3, but that level is pretty intense. I really like the difficulty level of this game. It SHOULD be a challenge to get to level 4 in a game (for the average gamer).jammiejay85 wrote:Well played Skykid I haven't even beat stage 3 yet lmao![]()

Yes. Just leave some tanks alive.Vamos wrote:Just started attacking doj myself and i have to ask on stage 2 midboss bit is it possible to chain the stage onto the midboss without a hyper?
I would think it's difficult to do with a hyper tbh because you'd obliterate everything really quickly. Ideally don't use a hyper and stay as much to the left as possible alternating between shot when flying popcorn enemies come in and laser as the larger gunships come down the screen. you need to leave around 5-6 tanks on the top right bank alive, and ideally edge over the first two with the laser and then you should be in line with the item carrier as it comes down. As soon as that blows up, still holding laser, scroll right over the remaining 3 tanks and then center up and you should be firing on the mid-boss as it appears (easier to watch a vid, lol.) It's tricky, but I find chaining through the two large tanks earlier in the level much harder.Vamos wrote:Just started attacking doj myself and i have to ask on stage 2 midboss bit is it possible to chain the stage onto the midboss without a hyper? ive done it with but fuck if i can do it without .
