Current builds, 32-bit and 64-bit, with sound support.

Note, sound quality is a bit rough even on the original games, they're using entirely 16khz samples, despite the chip being capable of far more, and them only ever using HALF the sample rom capacity they had (there is room on the boards for 2 additional sample roms they never populated)

Emulation might not be perfect, but it's pretty good. System requirements are obviously a bit higher now, sound code isn't optimized.

Running ok here ibara and futari are 100% constant however dmiles has mega audio clipping and slowdown , muchi pork about the same as before and ibara kuro has more slowdown now. Its only the first with sound though plenty of room for improvement .

Mushi, Mushi-Futari, Galuda, Ibara, and Pork are pretty good. The sound in Death Smiles and Muchi Muchi Pork is still kind of gratey and it skips, but that's to be expected for now.

So, i've been playing some of the games (Futari and Ibara), and the games are still playable, almost full speed, BUT the sound is a lil choppy and takes a toll on the raw processing power, so tehre are certain spots in which the game slowsdown because of the processing required for decoding the audio.

that's with the 64bits version, i dont even wanna know how it goes on the 32bit one.

Eagerly waiting for an update, this is great news but needs more work.

All in all, thanks to all of the MAMEDevs that are pouring their efforts into this, now i can play more cave stuff on the go (i already have teh iOS ones and the region free ones for the X360)...

Didn't they work already?

Back on topic: unless you already did, try mixing the MMP sound roms with Futari 1.5
Do it.

No seriously, DO. IT. NOW. You will find an entirely new meaning for the word "LULZ"

I will tell you this, and only this: T-Rexaur or whatever he's called dies while whinning. And last time I checked, a T-Rex is not a horse.

Stage three opens with a vigorous oinking xD

First of all, thanks to all the guys that are doing the coding, you are awesome, and you know it!

Second, what specs do I need to get those games running? I haven't tried it yet and I'm in no hurry, since my 360 is still doing good and have not even touched the Arange Modes. But what is a good system to get it running at a decent framerate?

My System is an Intel Core Duo with 2.00 GHz and 4 GB RAM.

I imagine that this way too slow for games like Futari.

im running them on an 1st gen i7 on an asus laptop (ASUS G51 JX-A1), and the framerate is good, but now with the sound, some sections get some more slowdown than usual... but i know that'd be solved when they optimize the sound code. Also, i've tested that with a system that is in no way fresh and running certain stuff in the background that might take a toll on the total performance.

I have a Amd X2 1.88 GHz Processor and nothing except Futari 1.5 running (In the background, i mean).
50% speed at max.
Don't even think about running SH3 in Mame on your PC, even after the next 100 improvements.

I'm rocking a dv7-6199sl notebook with an i7 2670QM and a Radeon HD6770 and everything is good: I get around 70% with the integrated HD3000 and WAY over 100% once the dedicated GPU kicks in.
