Being able to savestate in Muchi Muchi Pork would be much better for practice than that awful 360 practice mode.

pork didnt work, stuck in "full extent of the jam" screen (the warning screen) with an error up top. anyone got it to work?
side note, illvelo stuck in test mode loop. :(

now, some questions. there are many revisions of the game.
mushi has 2. futari has 3 + 1 black label. ibara black has 2.
is there any site (other than world of arcades) that list out the difference between each revisions?
It is to us a sufficient body in which, fairies and it is packed and can group of play.

The differences between futari 1 and 1.5 should be fairly well documented all over the place, the other more minor revisions might be hard to find info on them.

Death Smiles seems to be the most playable of the games so far. Was on the cusp of a 1CC until I died near the end of the very last stage. Why do those pig chefs keep trying to kill my character? Did she not tip them?

I bet she denied them an upskirt or something like that so they got truly pissed off. Another of those "too close for comfort" situations I guess? :D

Well, the moment they figure out MuchiMuchiPork and fix the speed/sound, it'll be like those movie trailers. All hell will break loose.

It wouldn't surprise me if that were true.

Futari seems to be the most affected by the slowdown, and IMO, it doesn't make the game any easier considering that I'm still getting owned at the tougher parts. It'll be nice when there's sound, though.

Chaos Phoenixma wrote:Don't you have to 1cc a lot of times to unlock Mushi Ultra? Hopefully we can somehow get around that. Mushi Ultra actually looks pretty fun from vids unlike Futari Ultra, but that could change once I actually get the chance to play it. I would still wait for it to be perfect though which is why I never bothered trying to emulate the PS2 version.

Futari 1.00 would be pretty interesting to try out since I don't think 1.01 will actually be emulated.

Outside of that, I'm not interested in the Ibaras, and I already own Deathsmiles, and ESPGaluda II for the 360.
Ok i found out what the code to unlock mushi ultra is, you have to insert a coin then press up,left,b,right,a,down, down,a,a,b. You have to do it every time you power up the rom though.

TOO FAR FOR COMFORT!!!
While people jump on and on about getting their Cave emulation fix and its provided, getting the "Not-Really Raiden II Dev Team" to work on it is as hard as scoring in Raiden Fighters. [/moraltroll]

Jokes aside, this is quite the development indeed. I've been checking this out for the last day or so now and I can confirm these facts:
- MAME does a better job than the February Demul build, Mushihimesama lags less and Ibara works better by shitloads
- Deathsmiles has graphical glitches, Mushihimesama has got like one in the menu when the description box glows and the rest appear to be fine
- EEPROM is listed in the cavesh3.c driver's "To Do List" so maybe that's why the service menu isn't working
- Muchi Muchi Pork is listed in the cavesh3.c as not working either, something about getting stuck in a loop or something

I am left with a few questions though:
- Is this Luca Elia's driver?
- If not, who made it? Was it a single person or a group of people?
- Does the method of emulation used for this mean that ingame slowdown will be accurate when the driver's running fullspeed (as opposed to Demul's method that works with sound/graphics but incorrect slowdown)?
- Will this driver be improved in the near future as the Cave PGM driver was or will it go the way of TGM2 and get taken out again until ages later?
- If someone were to really breath down Cave's copyright necks and dump a 3rd-gen game from within the last three years will it be left unsupported by MAME until the appropriate time has passed or implemented straight away?

Bit more than a few I realise but I'm very curious about these things and get quite interested when someone like Haze talks technical about these things. I'm surprised he hasn't shown up on this thread already to be honest.

It's hilarious that everyone says that Deathsmiles and Ibara run the best when Galuda II is the only thing that I can get running. Let's be backwards!

Well, others have being saying Mushi is the one that runs, lol. For me it was also Ibara. It actually ran better than the PS2 port which isn't that great to begin with.

Anyway, I wonder if the inclusion of sound and speed fixes will cause glorious stuff like Espketsui OST or Ketsui Back Label.

But does it emulate the smell of cardboard and melted circuits? And what about the CAVE fuckpillows?

edit: it appears that Christmas will also be early this year? I cannot stop thinking of Running Wild. Port Royal!

If Pink Sweets was emulated, I'd probably set up autofire and try the Infinite Lives trick some.It really sucks that got removed from the port, and I'm not patient enough to try to learn stage 6 to attempt it without.

Absolute up to the minute build (64bit): http://www.sendspace.com/file/66sc4c

Has MK Champ's Hi Score patch, sorry (not working with sh3 games).

Much faster, no glitches I can see and save support (eeprom/NAND).

You are better off with u6 roms for ds, futari etc, the latest have missing files it seems.

Also hold "0" for service menus.
