Yes...some serious money was inside this parcel.
But to be fair Ketsui was not that expensive (with original Dipsheet and Movelist) -> 600USD

Thanks for the thumbs up guys. I don't know how this game was distributed within Japan, but it's the kind of pcb you may see once in a year, so you better not thinking too long when the opportunity shows up with decent price.
Played it a couple of hours in 2P mode and it's quite funny and challenging !

AWESOME - I'm after Ultimate!! PC Genjin - Special Arcade Version FOR YEARS (along with Pirates & SegaSonic the Hedgehog that's my most wanted). That PCB is extremely hard to find. I have seen it TWICE in 5 YEARS on Yahoo. One time I got outbid in the last minute by 1000 yen (you couldn't talk to me for days after that :D :D :D ). The other one was WAY OVER my bid limit :x :x :x .
I hope you don't mind but where did you find your PCB so fast ???(I had seen that you're after the flyer - by the way - I NEVER seen one for this game)
Yahoo ??? Japanese PCB trader ??? private person ??? Ebay ??????
Please let me know :D .

PS: If you ever get sick of this game & you want to sell it = I'm here waiting for your PM :D :D :D .

That was a couple of weeks, it was a saturday morning, I just woke up and checked the latest listings on eBay. I suddenly fell on this pretty nice pcb, there was a "making offer" option and the seller accepted my offer of 160 GBP. It was totally unexpected. Lucky day.
In any case, I'm afraid I will never get sick of this game :D
But don't give up in your search, I guess it's not impossible to find, especially in Japan. Just regularly check YAJ!, Sophia, Fujita listings, etc.

Nice! Was this a limited "special" release or is that just the regular name? I haven't played mine for a while, so I can't recall if there was any "special" designation on the title screen or not.

I don't know if it's a particular limited release, but indeed it's subtitled "Special Arcade Version" under the "Ultimate!! PC Genjin" main title.

Kaneko did a great job in adapting this for the arcades.

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon - interesting - how is it? I have never fired it up in mame, but have always been curious about it as its only one of two titles by Gazelle - the other being Air Gallet. Big fan of Air Gallet.

That would be curious if there were two different versions. Maybe I'll fire mine up this week. Thanks!

I got Sailor Moon a couple of weeks ago. It's a cool game. Graphics are great, lots of detail and big sprites, and it has some really nicely staged boss fights. However, it's a little bit lacking in the moves department and it's very tough, so it didn't keep me motivated for that long.

Also, I believe Gazelle were also responsible for the Sailor Moon quiz arcade game.

You mean Air GARRET? That announcer is teh leet!

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon is a nicely drawn beat-em-up...very nice looking, quality sprites...
It's no Final Fight nut not bad at ALL for a licensed Sailor Moon game...

My $.02.....

Nice find!

I used to own the PC Engine port (titled "Crest of Wolf") but found it to be lacking apart from the very good graphics. How does the arcade original compare?

The PCE game of Crest of Wolf was released under the title of "Riot Zone" by TTI as a Super CD-Rom2 title. I thought it was a cool clone/knock-off of Capcom's Final Fight beat 'em up arcade game. Interesting to learn that it got a proper PCB release.

Westone was notorious for porting arcade games to the PC engine, while changing the name and some graphics in the process (to avoid lawsuit ?). They released WonderBoy on sega hardware in 1986 for the arcade and then ported it over to the PCE under the name "Adventure Island". They released Riot City in the arcade in 1991, then ported it to the PC engine a year later and under Ccrest of Wolf.
