Most games have been mentioned, but one missing was
Ogre Battle, a favorite of mine, though it's one of those games you always need a walkthrough if going for 100% completion and certain endings.
Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is pretty fun too, if just to see the differences with the NES versions. I doubt anyone will like this but me, but I liked Gundam F91: Formula Senki 0122 (no english patch though).

The problem I've always had with playing emulated games is, in general, it takes me at least a hour to really decide if a game is good. If you only put 5 minutes into the games above before deciding if the game is good or not, I guarantee you'll think the games above will suck and will switch it out for the next game - an easy thing to do with such a large library to pick from.

Oooh, I didn't know an Iria game was released for SNES....
