Here are the only ones I have seen, I am not sure if someone makes them or they came from sega directly.

Needs a bottle of wine and some champagne glasses .. :P
I might have to reshoot the video with some Henry Mancini style renditions of CAVE soundtracks.Udderdude wrote:Needs a bottle of wine and some champagne glasses ..emphatic wrote:http://www.emphatic.se/doublecabs.jpg

Whoah, fella, that's just my living room.Matskat wrote:It's really nice to see that not only do you guys have some nice hardware - but also keen eyes for interior design.
Frankly, having a game cave in your basement is cool - but having a nice, minimalist, modern gameroom with things like plants, and window treatments...that's nice. And refreshing.

All that's missing is Bill Murray on one cab, and Scarlett Johansson on the other.
I really appreciate how you are seated next to the heater to be able to play bullet hell in the coldest winters while in boxers without freezing to death, say in a basement/uninsulated shed for example.
Sounds like a nice plan. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's just a loose neckboard or remote connector like kernow suggested. If you tweak a pot and it turns off might not be the end of the CRT/chassis, just a coincidence. Just keep polishing it and let someone with a bit of experience have the first go at trying to solve the video issues. It's scary when you have no clue yourself, and when you're scared, shit happens more often than when you know what you're doing (sorta).mesh control wrote:I'm going to pull it out to the garage and give it a good cleaning then maybe get a hold of Kenchan or someone who probably has an idea of what they're doing.

the neckboard is a little PCB about 3-4" square that connects to the back of the Tube. Be extremely careful around this part of the tube. It does not take very much force to break it, and if you do the whole CRT is done. I've broken one before and it SUCKS!mesh control wrote:Where exactly is the neckboard? I'm assuming on the backside of the cabinet, in one of those access doors.
