What do you guys think? Should I keep it white with black stripes as it is now, or should I go black?

In any event, methinks the car will look good either way, it just has a different "aura" about it with the different colors; neither's really better than the other IMO, it just depends what you want people to think when they look at the thing.

Personally, I like it the way it is. However, I do like black Muscle Cars, and black does look sinister!
Solid black may even be cheaper than a base coat with stripes. So, it all depends on the deal thats worked out.
I just happend to find this one on the internet...its just like mine/same year etc. But, instead, its black with white stripes. Yea, reverse polarity.
I knew the Ikaruga referance would somehow be mentioned, and I kinda like the term I-CAR-uga (EE-Car Ugah)

I have thought about putting "TWITCH" on the license plates, but it costs a little bit too much right now. You have to pay around an extra $50 for personalized plates.Dylan1CC wrote:Just keep it black, that looks sweet.
BTW Twitch, have you ever considered getting a shmup or game themed license plate? Or do ya think that would make you look like a dork with your car club cronies?

I once suggested "TWCHDKTR" in one of his "car" threads from some time ago. I'm sure there are lots of other possibilities...if he went with an "Ikaruga" theme I'd love to see "IMNTRGRT," heh heh.Dylan1CC wrote:BTW Twitch, have you ever considered getting a shmup or game themed license plate? Well, as its stands, its been confused with a 69 Camaro, as well a a late 60's early 70's Nova! Mostly Nova's though. When I tell em its a Chevelle, they're like "Ohhh, no shit"! I guess Chevelles still demand more respect than Nova's ever will.landshark wrote:When painted black, it makes me think of a camaro. I think your car looks better in white with the stripe.
If you go black, are you going to go with a gold stripe? That would totally be camaroish
Nah, Nova's are still cool by me though...
Any chance of showing any pics of it in white? I haven't seen any good pics of your car, Twitch.
It's cool that you've never gave up on this car, what with all the crap you have to put up with. I guess that's true love for ya.
Anyway, I think you should keep the white and maybe paint some black stripes on it. And then get a plate that says "IKARUGA." (Unoriginal I know, but i gotta say it.

These are the only photo's I have...they were taken about a year ago or so.
Since then the engine was fully detailed, but since the rear end crash, well battery acid sprayed all over the engine; ruining all the chrome.

The engine will be detailed again one day soon with new chrome parts.
More than likely after the body and paint.
