This has probably been answered, but Search won't find anything with "DLC" - all of the copies of the regular edition right now should be first prints with the DLC correct?

Just wanted to see if I'm lightly gambling getting a regular edition or heavily gambling on the regular edition.

It doesn't hurt to ask the retailer you plan on buying it from if they still have copies that include the DLC. NCS usually answers questions like these pretty quickly during their business hours. They should be able to tell since there's a sticker on the shrinkwrap indicating a DLC code is contained in the package.

I figured that would be the case, but I didn't know if there were any non-first run copies in the wild yet. Thanks for the tip, I've already sent out feelers!

Is the rectangular sticker on the shrink of the LE what I want to see on the SE?

That pink sticker says that it contains DLC for the Matsuri version of MMP. So I guess if that is on your SE then you are good.

I still haven't cashed in my DLC between not having played in a bit and being all concerned about migrating it when I get a new console :C

Is it super badass? Do I owe it to myself to set up a jp account, throw caution to the wind, and download it asap?

I think it's different enough to at least take a look. However having tried it myself, I'd gladly hand my code to someone else if I hadn't used it immediately after getting the game.

It may depend on how much you enjoy Pork. I'm more of a Sweets guy.

Hey all-

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, but i tried to cash in my DLC code for matsuri mode but i get the "invalid code" message. I'm suppose to punch this code in "redeem code" part of the market place, right?

And if i am punching in the code at the right place, what's the next step in fixing this issue?

AFAIK you need to do this with a Japanese account. Once redeemed you can play on your normal account, but to redeem it Japanese one it is. Cave kinda fucked that up a bit, seeing as it is region free after all.

Do all limited editions come with the DLC? Sorry for the possibly dumb question, been out of the loop for a while as I've had no money, and I'm looking to buy this now.

I'm pretty sure LE sets only get one run, so you're pretty safe there.

Items with the card should have a sticker on the outside stating such, you could just ask your favorite retailer if the copies they have in stock have the sticker or not.

Is this game pack available to import from Europe anywhere else apart from Playasia? It's too expensive.

They didn't fuck anything up, Microsoft's download codes are coded to a very specific piece of data which is on a certain server, and JP servers are only accessible by JP accounts, as licensing issues with tons of content could come up if they were not coded to a certain region. Its not like you need the DLC to play the game, and they didn't make it region free as to say "here's an overseas copy of the game just for you guys, everything works just fine on your US and EU accounts." It was more like "here, for those few of you who give a shit, it is possible to play this on a console that isn't region locked to Japan."

Don't really see the issue tbh, I never had a JP tag before this and it took all of 2 minutes to get one, download the DLC to my PAL 360 and resume playing on my normal gamertag. It's not like it cost me any money.

Wait... then why is Mushi Futari's DLC, that doesn't come with the game, available to US accounts?

Heh, I wonder if that's part of the reason that the game has cover art when you see someone on your friends list playing it on a US account. Futari is the only one that has that, the rest show generic labels next to my friends' avatars if they're playing an import game.

I was finally able to take down the first loop on 1.0 today. I have to concede that while I initially thought 1.01 wasn't all that different, I was quite wrong. 1.0 has been kicking my ass for the last few weeks, where 1.01 only took a few days of play to clear.

I very nearly blew it too at the final boss. I have a tough time getting through the 'big green balls" attack in his first form. It's not a tough pattern really, but the balls are spread so far apart I have a tough time keeping track of exactly where they overlap. On this game, however, I got through both waves of it without so much as a bomb. Yet, for some idiotic reason, as the form finally exploded, I rushed forward into the gold bricks in a celebratory, "Yes, MINE!" kind of move and smashed right into the bottom of the boss and died.

I still had enough lives to pull it out, but, damn, had I missed it by that ONE life I'd probably snap the disc in half.

I'm almost certain that pink sticker's what I used to tape the cellophane into a neat little ball. Awesome.

The DLC code isn't actually printed on the pink sticker if that's what you're thinking, the sticker is just there to confirm that the DLC is included inside the box.

I recovered the sticker all the same - turns out I used the case seal to tape the ball closed, but the sticker was still attached to the cellophane.

So the code was in the box all along! On this incredibly huge insert that I didn't bother looking at. Heh.

The sticker sure looks like it might have a code on it, what with the dashes and all!

I can't help but picture him digging through miles of trash in a junkyard looking for that sticker until finally realizing that the code wasn't on it in the first place.

Congrats 8 1/2!! I have sort of given up on 1.00 for the time being, but it is certainly a heck of a lot more challenging than 1.01. I'm sure your copy of the disk is thankful that you didn't loose your last life by suiciding into the final threat.
