It's apparently handled exactly the same way Guwange is post-patch - there's a "Wide Mode" option you have to turn off.dementia wrote:Out of curiosity, is 4:3 tate broken like in Guwange XBLA?

It's not the same as Guwange pre or post patch. The Wide option in Guwange only works if your 360 dash is set to 4:3. In Sweets/Pork it works regardless of what your dash is set to.StarCreator wrote:It's apparently handled exactly the same way Guwange is post-patch - there's a "Wide Mode" option you have to turn off.dementia wrote:Out of curiosity, is 4:3 tate broken like in Guwange XBLA?

If that's the case, I'd go with Futari, especially since it's much cheaper now if you get the Platinum release.PsikyoPshumpPshooterP wrote:hey guys..i can afford only game..Futari or this bundle?? My DLC won't redeem. Not with a us or jp sign-in.
Anyone else have this problem?

I have that problem all the time, with both DLC cards and MS point cards. The letters/numbers are never written clear enough on those. Have a buddy try to enter it, sometimes they will interpret the code differently than you will.

I'm about to pop this in. In the state of delirium that I'm in it will be interesting to see if I can even navigate the screen setting menus, let alone the bullets. Hmmm I think I'll start with Pork then try Sweets for desert

Wow, I thought the pork would be the main dish and sweets for dessert, but so far I find myself much more intrigued by Pink Sweets. MMP is nice to look at, but it's still not feeling like anything very special. I expected something similar to Ibara and I'm just not feeling it. I love the carnival looks and sounds of both games. The arrange mode for MMP was ok but it seemed a bit generic-Cave arrange somehow.

I have no idea what I'm doing in either of these games, but my first few credits were still fun.
I like the look too but my upstairs neighbor is going to hate me
These are certainly going to be a nice distraction from the more status-quo CAVE games, but I was never hooked on Ibara (for PS2) so I don't know how these will grow on me over time. I am certainly intrigued from my initial few plays, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing a ton of used copies here in the marketplace within a few weeks time...
About to try DFK-BL for the first time in a min...

Has anyone in this thread been able to redeem their DLC?
I typed the letters & numbers in correctly.
Still getting an 'invalid code' message.

Gotta do up a Japanese account to redeem it, then you can play it in your American one.

Except he didn't imply their opinions were less important, only that he wants to hear fresh opinions from people who have no prior experience with these games.

Bit daft though, I downloaded the Futari one from my UK account no problem.

Pink Sweets is more immediate and in your face than Pork, which has a lot of subtlety to it.professor ganson wrote:Wow, I thought the pork would be the main dish and sweets for dessert, but so far I find myself much more intrigued by Pink Sweets. Pork is awesome because of the ridiculous stream of medals. I just had a test-credit on both games, and MMP seems to have more slowdown than the arcade version. Cant speak for PS though, as it's one of the two cave games where I never played the PCB.

I am really enjoying this package a LOT. I'm still getting my grips on the system of each game and it my take me a bit but so far I'm having a lot of fun.
I really wanted Pink Sweets, but I've played MMP a considerable amount more at this stage. It is really fun.

What I meant is it doesn't work if set to a widescreen setting. Whereas it does in MMP/PS.Zaarock wrote:Nope, works fine in 5:4 here.bcass wrote:The Wide option in Guwange only works if your 360 dash is set to 4:3.

There aren't any achievements specifically associated with DLC right?

Not sure, but it wouldn't matter either way, you could still get them playing on your non-JPN gamertag.KisakiProject wrote:There aren't any achievements specifically associated with DLC right?

Afaik, Microsoft started actively preventing developers and publishers from making any of the initial 1,000 achievement points reliant on DLC after Monolith pulled that trick with Condemned (and then never released any DLC anyway, making it the only retail release to feature fewer than the standard 1k).
