Yeah I'd say it hasn't aged as well as other games. Some of the sprite work isn't as impressive anymore. The sound effects and crazy rock/metal music still hold up imho and the little elements elements of where enemies are posing as "innocent bystanders", but last minute pulling out a gun .... The number of onscreen explosions and bullets is nuts as well, regardless of game genre.
Dogs of War is an Ikari clone where you can purchase weapon upgrades. It was alright, but I thought the actual Ikari Warriors port on Amiga was much better.
