I'm not sure how many are being made this round, but please add me to the list.

I'm also very interested in the control adapters when they are ready.

I'm really excited for this!

I haven't gotten any notifications about any kind of list but I'd like to re-express my interest just in case my post got overlooked. If I've missed out on this round I guess I'll just have to wait. :(

In case you didn't read. Viletim lets you show interest by posting. At the time of production he scans through the posts and makes it known the new product is available. Thats how it worked last time anyway.

This time he might just change the header to read "now available".

don't worry, there will be enough units to satisfy immediate demand. He is not going to cut his own profits by restricting the amounts made.

that is correct. This is what Viletim e-mailed me last week: 'I will have lots of stock, no change of running
out any time soon.'

So indeed don't worry.

I have bad news. After testing boards today I've discovered a problem: one component is incorrect. It will take me approximately two weeks to source replacement components and rework the boards. I was going to start taking orders at the end of this week, but now I'll leave it untill the start of the new year.

The component is a CMOS switch IC, part of the support circuitry for the controller expansion (work in progress) - it's not aparent there's a problem when adapter is run by itself. What's in it's place now is apparently a logic OR gate.

Reiterating.... I am not taking orders yet, I am not taking pre-orders. If you would like an email/PM when they are available to order you need only give the most subtle suggestion that you may be vaguely interested and you are automatically on the list. Please don't send me five emails, a PM, and complan in the thread that I haven't answered your email 20 minutes later. I have lots of adapters, nobody will miss out.

It doesn't have to be January, February is also fine if that means that you can have a nice and relaxed Xmas holiday. :D

According to yourself Viletim the 2.0 model isn't going to do anything different from 1.0 right?

I want to order now but since supplies are limitless to a degree I would rather wait until your controller modules come out. Any idea when that is?

Also, I am a little concerned mods might have to be done down the line for the controller aspect of it. Are you certain the controller module aspect of the 2.0 works as described in your previous posts?

Great product btw..

The audio section is a bit different. Using 3.5mm Jacks instead of RCA, and there's an audio input now.
The JAP RGB 21 socket is not included unless you ask for it specially, and it will be a few weeks until they're ready anyway. PCB feet are not included either but I'll include them for a few dollars extra when I get some in. Mounting the feet will be a part of the documentation, not yet finished.

I expect many people will do the same. I really can't give any indication how long they will take yet, I will let everybody know once I make a bit more progress.

If it helps viletim. I will probably order 2, one with JAP21 and one with Euro RGB. Might as well cover both bases. I will order when I can get everything I want in one big parcel.

I assume the 3.5mm audio jack totally eliminates the buzzing of a scart connector?

Yes, it can elinate the buzzing on consoles which have seperate audio outputs such as some models of Playstation and Mega Drive.

Im going to order one later too, low on cash right now.

Just a thought I had.
Is the speakers in a EGRET II in serie or paralell? (Anyone?)
It says on your page that the speakers must have an impedance of 8 Ohm or higher.
EGRET II speakers are 4 Ohm. :?

However, I am (as most people) low on funds thanks to X-mas. I hope these don't sell out to quickly *fingers crossed*
