We concertedly use this insult on most message boards I go to just to make any group of people with some like characteristic into one. For no reason other than it sounds funny. No offense to homosexuals

Hey man not all of us can afford j360s Though I can understand the sentiment with all the "I'll buy anything with animu on it" people grabbing regionless releases just to play something Japanese.
That said, this release was what was going to sell me a j360...I still have to grab one but it's feeling less urgent with the regionless announcement

I understand that it annoying to read always the begging for region-free. But it's also annoying to hear "those region-free $badword" when something is going region-free. I was going to buy a second 360 for the CAVE releases, but with this going region-free I don't have to atm.
I think I'm gonna get a PAL 360 and just play the region free titles on it. So my precious J-NTSC won't be sullied by the region free ones. + One 360 in each cabinet would be fun.

Back to topic:
I preordered the SE as soon as cave (CAVE!) anounced it to be region free. I hope so much that the first print SE will have the dlc-code...
Edit: is it just me, but doesn't this instrument look quite futuristic and, kinda "cyborgish"?

There are many other, better reasons to get one than this release. Both of these games look great and all, but there are other J-exclusive 360 games that seem much better than both of these. I've only seen a number of videos of both of these, and they pretty much just look like a colorful CAVE shooter.

Yep - somehow I ended up with a launch J360 and a uk 360. I'm paranoid about the J360 screwing up so the region free games don't touch it.

Well yeah, unfortunately they aren't going to look as nice as Raizing games with everything prerendered and Cavey, but Yagawa is far and away my favorite name in STGs. I definitely need to pick up a j360, I'd love to be playing Ketsui and DFK right now, but this release was the one that made it feel like an absolute necessity. Was planning on picking it up even if I couldn't afford a j360 for a while.
