Fair enough, but we'd probably be ok seperating it into "default" and "other".

You're right- we should definitely make it as vague as we can.

There are 400 different autofire configurations. We're not going to keep that many lists.

Wanderer-- 18,243,639 --Stage 4 -- Maniac -- Default auto setting

Just blasting away and happy I made it to stage 4. Now I have to figure out this auto fire business and how it effects score.

Well, it works the same as tapping fire, but you can twak it to have a different setting. IE - fire faster than a human can tap, thereby getting a lot of "hits" on the enemies and jacking up the counter...especially level 3.

I'm kind of keeping it "pure" and not fucking with it... I hate having to use 3 buttons anyway.

Same here, I literally haven't changed the control config at all since I started playing. I feel more confortable holding the button and being slow anyway.

You can't damage the boss while you're invincible. This means right after you die and come back to life, and when you bomb.

Do not ask me how I did that shit on Manic. I had two lives and no bomb starting on stage 4, and made it all the way freakin boss... had a 30,000 counter at one point. :/ I will not be beating this for a while.

One of you wanna tell me how to have my high scores saved? I've got auto-save on, but I always lose them.

Last edit of the night.

Just in case, have you noticed that whenever you start the game, or enter your initials for a high-score, the game display's "Today's Best" first? Scroll through them and you should see the overall list.

I did not see that. I thought that was only valid for the one displayed up top. I'll be more patient (which I'm usually not).

It did the "Today's High Scores" / "Overall High Scores" thing in the arcade too. It really threw me off the first few times... "What? Nobody has -ever- played this machine on maniac?!?"

I'm sooooo looking forward to having this game in my hands in about a week or so. I don't have my arcade hi scores handy (grr), so I'm looking forward to making some new ones. :D

Only a slight improvement, but I'll post it anyway since Khoa seems to have forgotten to update my previous score (and put my Arrange score in the wrong rank).
