Speaking of kotaku, my god, do I hate that site. I just went to look at that article and even as painfully stupid and misinformed as that was, I went and read the Vanquish review, and while the review itself wasn't too bad, the comments that followed make me want to claw my fucking eyes out. It makes me wonder if there's a chance we'll see an Illvelo "Massive" for the 360. I would hope so since the majority of shooter players own a 360 already and this is Milestones foray into it's world. Also, since I own a Japanese 360 and could actually play it. It would help me get over the mess that was the NA Wii version.

Just wait. Since Cave started porting their games, I think that all shooting game developpers were waiting to see how the market would react. We know that the response has been really good so far and Now It is Milestone turn to test it and Noir is going to be their first title. I really hope it to sell a good number of copies, and if it happens I wouldn't mind some compilation of their older titles. Ok I have just tried the game and so far it is a good conversion though those HD graphics I don't see them anywhere. There are a lot of gameplay modes but one is locked, don't ask me what is it because it is written ?????? on it. Menus are in english and music is nice actually. I haven't put too much in to the game but hopefully more people in the boards will tell you a bit more.
IMHO, the game doesn't worth the price they are asking for but it doesn't mean it is a bad game.

I have played a bit more and the port is very solid, IMO it is much better than the Wii port. The exclusive Caravan mode it is really fun.

I played a bunch last night. I'm not using an HD TV, but the visuals are very clear, easy to read everything, and it looks very good.
The game is tons of fun, and definitely worth the asking price. I got it for about 5500 yen since I live here in Japan.
I very much hope Milestone continues its shooting games, and hope they continue to support the 360.

I haven't unlocked it and I have already beaten Arcade and Classic. However I was wondering if Illvelo Calories off is indeed included as a secret option or something just like in the Wii version.

I've done the same and haven't unlocked Extend Mode either.
I hope that Milestone releases Illvelo "Massive" with the calories off version and a few more modes.

In Radirgy Noa Wii, Expand Mode was unlocked with a code posted on their website (←←→→↓↑↓↑↓↑ at the title screen IIRC?) so it may just be a matter of waiting for Milestone.

Played a few credits yesterday. I need to figure out how the shot power up works. I hate it when i get stuck with the horizontal lasers, i much prefer the spread+side shot.
A few times now I have put in the initials AAA into the leader-boards because I didn't realize I couldn't continue and was on the name input screen. That transition should be more obvious.
So far the bosses don't see that awesome unfortunately. I didn't even realize most were bosses until the next stage starts loading.
Playing this on a wide-screen, I have borders within borders which makes my inner-child cry.

You know the coloured power-ups? Red, Green and Yellow. Give that a whack with the weapon and it will change colour. Red for the X shot. Green for pure spread. Got the game today, played it a bit, and I have no idea what's going on. The game has a nice vibe though, and reading through some Radirgy strategy threads I got the very basic gist of what the ABSnet is, but I'm hoping there'll be some Noir-specific info available sooner or later.
Very cool how import-friendly the game is. On a sad note, my TV cuts off a chunk from the image on the left, so that the graphics start at about the middle of the blue-haired girl's face. Shame there isn't any options to tweak image settings.
