Next Game: Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu
This thread is for the regular Pink Gorilla Shmupmeets that will take place roughly every six weeks. At each shmupmeet, there will also be held a ranking battle tournament that will give you the opportunity to earn points to contribute to seasonal rankings for the Seattle/Northwest area. The meets and tournaments are open to everyone regardless of skill level or interests, so feel free to come out and support your favorite arcade!
Meet information:
- Location - U-District Pink Gorilla Store + Arcade, University Ave N Seattle, WA 98105
- Satruday, November 27, from 2:00pm until when the store closes
The store officially closes at 9pm, but so far the employees have been nice enough to keep the store open late for us - it's best not to count on it though, unless someone says otherwise

About the Ranking Battles:
At every PG shmupmeet we will hold a tournament for a different shmup, where players will compete for the highest score. Players that place within the top 5 of the tournament will receive a number of points that will contribute to their overall ranking throughout the season. For example, 1st place will receive 5 points, 2nd place will receive 4 points, ect. all the way to 5th place who will receive 1 point. At the end of the season, the player with the highest number of points will be declared the winner.
- Each season will last for 4 tournaments.
- The tournaments will be open to all players regardless of skill level or region.
- You don't have to play at every tournament to be eligible for overall rankings. However, missing tournaments will reduce the number of opportunities for you to build points.
- There is no entry free - the tournament is open to anyone who wants to compete.
- Registration starts at 2pm, tournament starts at 4pm (I'm not going to be too strict about this, but try to show up reasonably on time).
- Each participant will play 1 credit of the specified game.
- After a participant has finished playing their credit, their score will be recorded.
- After all participants have finished playing, the player with the highest score will be the winner.
