You might want to grab the basic Wizardry:Torawareshi Tamashii no Meikyû demo-package on the Japanese PSN - it's completely bare-bones and I haven't played much of it, also I don't know how much the language barrier will prevent from enjoying it, but hey, it's a free tryout.

It's pretty easy - just make a new user on your PS3 and sign it up for PSN. There's lots of guides on the internets for this.

You can play PS3 downloadables (except for account pictures) using any account on that console, so you only need the Japanese account to download stuff. Just make sure not to delete it.

PSN has a lot of great games. I'm spending more time playing them than retail.

- After Burner Climax (just watch this)
- Crystal Defenders (great Final Fantasy Tower Defense game)
- Zen Pinball
- Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2D beat-em-up)
- DeathSpank (gameplay similar to Diablo)
- Megaman 9 & 10

That's all I can think for now. Most of them have demos available for you to check out before buying.

If you don't like dual analog aiming don't get uncharted. Uncharted 1 is about 85% shooting, uncharted 2 is 95%. Infamous is much easier to play dual analog then the uncharted games.

I'm quite crap at dual analog. I played Dead Space on easy for that reason. It still presented a challenge, but I over came it to complete it. Its one of the games I enjoyed a lot for a control system I despise. I never completed uncharted 2, its just relentless action action ACTION, to the point where you sigh when the next wave of enemies come out.

I recently bought Prince of Persia Forgotten sands. Its quite good. Not what I would call an absolute mega hit but I got it brand new for £15. Ubisoft have those kind of games that slide in price about 2 weeks after launch.

I think the only way is to buy one of those 2000-yen PSN cards.

Yep, Japanese PSN cards(they come in different flavours) is the way to go, unless the stuff you're looking for is also to be found in the Hong Kong shop, if it is you can buy it there with any credit card. Which means, dear CMoon, to open yet another fake account.

EDIT: P-a seems to just have 1000 YEN tickets now...strange.
