Iphone mode looks nice with that multidirectional shoot. However I still waiting for a Xbox 360 port. We will know it soon in a few days during Cave Matsurin.

I don't like the PCB soundtrack, but those new electronic arrangements sound uber-gay.

It's all about Black Label soundtrack at this point.
I personally like the new tracks.... as standalone. They completely ruin the mood of DFK though.

Is the BL soundtrack the same as the iPhone soundtrack? I heard a bit of the BL soundtrack a while back, but I don't remember it being like this new iPhone one.

No, they're different. BL's soundtrack is so bad-ass compared the the original DFK and this... cutesy iPhone one (opinions may vary).

Everyone on twitter needs to send messages to Cave's twitter telling them we want this on the 360 as well. They do read it, and frequently respond. If we never get a proper port of this, you'll only have yourselves to blame.

LOL. Cave themselves describe the new remixes as "hot" on their twitter page! Hahahahahaha

The first arrangement song in the trailer made me think of a dating game or a really cheesy love-love anime, for some reason. I was half-expecting the first stage boss to pop up on screen and say ” 私わ。。。大好き。。。♥ ♥ ♥ ” while looking shy and embarrassed.

Has anyone done a scan yet of the Cave interview in this months EDGE magazine? I know there's a snippet on their website but wouldn't mind seeing the whole thing.

I had a look at in the newsagent (too poor to afford videogame magazines now), and the article is pretty poxy, about the same length as the one online. Hopefully Edge or GamesTM will do a retrospective if there's enough interest generated by the ports. Won't be holding my breath though; despite the respect these magazines get, they're still as conservative as anything else out there, especially Edge.

Edge doesn't do company retrospectives, anyway, just single games (and occasionally series). You're looking to gamesTM for that kind of thing, but I really wouldn't hold my breath, especially given that you're talking about a company whose output has mainly been restricted, in the UK, to those players with access to imports.

Finally someone who despises the Black Label soundtrack as I do, this Iphone versions soundtrack is even worse indeed.

Given that YouTube is home to the most retarded, wrong-headed bullshit on the internet - some feat in itself - I'd take that as a huge positive in favour of iThing conversions.

I'm one of those who's a bit concerned about Cave's seeming focus lately on portable gaming in lieu of "full" ports of its stuff, but I really don't think the best way to convince the company to cater to your demographic is repeatedly telling it to f*ck itself as soon as it turns its head in a different direction for a moment.

I thought the new soundtrack is only for the iphone mode. If so, just play it in arcade mode.

I'd rather have it for the 360, but I'll still buy and enjoy this version. Looks fun!

Me too. I would much rather a 360 port and will die inside if everything becomes focused on the iPhone, but I don't think there is much to worry about.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Cave World a kind of subdivision of CAVE that works on iStuff stuffs? Wouldn't CAVE be doing the usual? There should be news in the next few days anyways.

I like the new music, but I don't know about it in a DDP game.. heh.

DDP Resurrection comments on Twitter from the past few days: 31
Out of these comments, there are 9 that mention "360 port" or "360 version".

To be honest, the best Cave World--an iPhone/iTouch game division, to say the least--can do with all of these 360 version pleas is to relay them to the rest of CAVE and whatever division is responsible for programming the ports. nintenthe3rd's already made a humble mention of it earlier which cave_world_en has humbly replied to, and from what I've noticed from looking at all of the @cave_world_en messages, cave_world_en hasn't replied to a single 360 port tweet ever since that initial mention if only because most of those tweets are pretty much the same: pleading for an Xbox 360 port.

The 360 port will come when CAVE gets to it. It really isn't Cave World's responsibility to handle a 360 port anyways since they're just focused on iPhone/iTouch games. I'm also pretty sure that Cave World is separate from CAVE's arcade and console division, which further baffles me when everyone starts worrying about CAVE ditching arcade and 360 for iPhone/iTouch.

It is more than obvius that Cave is porting DFK to the 360 after having such a great welcome to their ports. We will see it this saturday if they decide to show it. I am sure that it will be released before the end of the year.

I guess I'll be the only one who likes the Iphone soundtrack lolz.
Super gay electronic dating euro beats are just fine for me.

Still, a game for the Iphone is the last thing I would play. Even if it's only for maximum HIGH SCORE punishment!

Hopefully they'll be putting this on sale early on like they did with Espgaluda II. I missed out on that, but I've gotten more than my $10 worth out of it already. I'll be there day one to purchase it.

Oh wait... I meant "bitch bitch bitch, etc."

Guys guys guys, STFU about a 360 port already. Everyone can agree that it'll be great when it happens, some of us are clearly more patient than others, but it will happen.

The past 12 months have been Their biggest year yet in terms of ports, they are making the push to broaden the genre a bit and porting to iPhone/Pad truly is a smart way for them to be discovered. It's not the end of the world.

Different members of Cave are likely responsible for the portable games anyway.

anyway, I'm really pumped about this, day one purchase, can't wait to have another great shmup for when I'm traveling this summer (that's what portable games are for if you forgot).

Trailer looks sick! sounds like Only the iPhone mode uses the remix music, hopefully the original music works in arcade mode.

Well... you can wait for this version then. I'll be playing the PCB in my room while I wait to play the BL on the 360 in the same room.

I cry myself to sleep when I remember I don't have a "i" anything.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
