People often make it out to be crap (cuz it's so different from Spriggan on PCE maybe?), but on the other hand I've also heard from a few sources that it's a great technical achievement on SFC not to be missed.

Worthy of a quick rom download? Heck, why not, just to calm curiosity.Seven Force wrote:So who should I believe? Is it a worthwhile game? Please make your claims, and back them up!
Worthy if found in a bin, cart only, USD 5? Yeah, maybe you won't regret the five dollars. Then again, you can buy better games for five bucks.
Worthy a purchase on ebay, boxed and all? Not at all.

My impressions
Gameplay: unbelievably inane most of the time and cheap at some other time, except the cave stage and the final stage, which are both good quality.
Music: inane
Graphics: quite good, I thought I knew what a SNES can do until I play this. But then Rendering Ranger makes every other SNES games look amateur, so...
Gimmick: the buzz bonus is not worth your time since the hit box is huge and the bonus is minimal. The tickle attack (charge attack of the vulcan) is very fun to use however. It's one redeeming quality for this game.
The verdict? What Turrican said above
