Major dead thread resurrection... It is now almost halfway through 2010, and Starcraft II now has a release date  Pardon me if it is old news, but I just found out and this is the most recent thread where the game was mentioned according to my search...

Here's my top 10 of 2009. This year is looking even better with way more games, so it's going to be even harder to narrow things down.

2009 is gone.

I'm looking forward to nothing in 2010.

Deathsmiles II might be fun, I tend to enjoy games that others hold in low regard.

I bought lost plannet and i know a lot of people are hating this game but I just love it.

I dont think i will be on Fallout new vegas but Brink looks like its could be fantastic if the net code is right and there are enough maps to keep me coming back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwU0rKEhMJ8

Wow, all games I looked forward in 2009 turned out to be complete turds. I'm not looking forward to anything anymore.

Yowza. I have to disagree with that one. It looks fine on a CRT, or on a smaller LCD(which is what i'm playing it on). It's load times are garbage, and has bugs, but hopefully the patch will fix all these things. Then it will be aces. Well, if you don't look at the box art, or the new "art" that is littering the menus in the game.

Games like Mushi for the PS2, with it's psycho filtering, are much worse to me. It looks horrible, and can't be fixed(even with the fan made patch, it looks horrible). I'm sure there are much worse if we go back in time, but nothing is really coming to mind(Super R-Type was a slow down ridden version of R-Type II, wasn't it?).

Without divulging into the "port or conversion" discussion, check out this awesome Xevious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BpV8cw2DC0

Space Harrier is even more awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs-4Zu0DN2g

That is fucking amazing. The game is more or less rendered in a resolution of 40x25.

If anyone is insinuating that that is a bad conversion, oh wow
