Ah, I've been wondering if I'd ever end up buying something off someone here through eBay without knowing it...Anyways, I have been enjoying the Parodius Deluxe Pack, as it's quite excellent. Thanks!

Anyways, this game is awesome.
Glad to hear you like it! One of Treasure's best for sure. I'll never forget the first time I played Radiant Silvergun, it was February 2000. I also played Soukyugurentai for the first time that evening (talk about a great way to kick off my first time ever playing games on the Saturn), me and my brother couldn't decide which one we liked more, both are such epic shooters.

But Radiant edges out Souky in the epic department for sure, the first time I saw the graphics and heard Hitoshi Sakimoto's beautiful music my jaw dropped and my ears locked in. I really need to stop procrastinating and put the chaining system on my "to do" list (in between playing Mushihime when it arrives)

Oh yeah, and Radiant shows that nobody does on screen explosions in games better than Treasure. :D

The first Treasure game I played was Mischief Makers for N64 and I thought "Wow, these guys really like things to blow up big time," then a few years later when I played Radiant and blew up the first of many bosses... Wow.

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to add, I also love Ikaruga but Radiant is still my fave. It's just much longer, nicer to look at and has a lot more layers to discover (that's not to underscore the brilliance of Ikaruga's polarity system mind you)

i was watching one of BenShinobis replays in my colleges comp lab, and one of the employees walked by and noticed. he said he had played a few video games on saturn and couldn't believe that it was the same system.

i want RSG so bad, but no money...
I have no sig whatsoever.

Yeah, that's the catch...

Every good shmup fan should have the chance to experience this game without having to sell their life away to get it. I paid a lot of money for it and it hurt when I bought it, but it definitely has delivered the fun, the eye candy, etc...

Just wish the rest of you who haven't experienced could get it and play it! :)
