At risk of destroying a board by fiddling I thought I'd run this by here first.
I have a BAS woody with a rotate mech. Unfortunately as it's old it's a little kooky and the vert games end up upside down when rotated. Wank.
Does anyone know what the dips do on Cave games and if there's a screen flip option on most vert Jamma boards. I can't find any details on Cave stuff or anything in the on screen options menu.
Thanks for the help!

Or you can flip the yoke connection on the woodie so that when its vertical the games are actually the correct way up, it just involves finding the yoke connection to the chassis and reversing it usually.

The vast majority of sensible PCBs have a flip. Even some games with no flip actually DO have one as a hardware jumper (Mikie for example).
Cave are not sensible. Honestly it's a real example of penny pinching cost savings.

Yes, and really silly considering that cabinets with different rotate orientations are still alive and well. Bloody hell.bloodflowers wrote:The vast majority of sensible PCBs have a flip. Even some games with no flip actually DO have one as a hardware jumper (Mikie for example).
