Cave VS Treasure: Who makes the best shmups?

I'm going to have to go with Treasure, since i'm desperately in love with Ikaruga, and in lust with Gradius V and Radiant Silvergun(even though I have problems with that one).

That being said, I find Cave games to be a a good bit more addictive, and I seem to play them more. Also, Cave have made a TON more shmups than Treasure.

Neither of them does. Treasure's games are completely overrated and Cave games are meh outside Dangun Feveron, just bullets and shit at you. RAIZING ON THE TOP, bitch.

And what other titles from Skonec are there besides Homura (which is excellent BTW)?

Edit: I like Toaplan and Treasure, too, but I can't play DDP every damn day.
