I was actually fairly disappointed with the Futari LE's soundtrack, it just didn't really stand out at all.

Oh, it will definitely be available right after release on auction sites ... at a ridiculously inflated price.

Isn't the LE just a faceplate? Not worth it to me, but if you really want it that badly it will be out there.

If you have a contact in Japan, they'll probably show up en masse at Amazon.co.jp Marketplace once the game is released - this is how I ended up getting my Deathsmiles LE after the fact. If you don't have a contact in Japan, you -might- be able to convince one of the sellers to ship internationally, but I wouldn't bet on it.

So, I am finally a happy owner of an Espagaluda II board!

Personally I feel like the stages are somewhat shorter than the first game and that the overall difficulty has been ramped up a (to compensate, perhaps?). Also, there's a lot more going on on the screen. However, I can't help but feel that this in some way has led to some unwanted "sluggishness" to the whole experience. There's noticably more slowdown, sometimes when there are no big explosions and the slight horisontal scrolling (when you move away from the center of the screen) make the vertical scrolling chug a little. No big things, but it takes away from the smooth feeling of Espgaluda I .

Gameplay-wise I think it's a blast, though. It's not as "clean" as the first game, but with the overdrive mode you can get some pretty nice scores. It feels like a natural continuation of the series and will probably provide enough diversity to stay fresh for some time. Thumbs up there .

Well over there they've got way more distributors, for the few import shops/sites the rest of the world has access to, not so much. Once all the preorders are filled (within a few hours like NCSX and this game lol) they'll never open up again unless CAVE decides to do a more printings of them.

The idea was to cancel the first preorder if I managed to get on the P-A one - which I did. Turns out I can't cancel so...

Why do people pay 2 or 3 times that much for a lot of other inanimate objects? They're collectors items and great asthetic pieces and some people just appreciate them more than others.

I managed to get the LE via PA, but it looks as though it's going to stay sealed until I enentually sort out a J360. Oh well, at least I can put the new faceplate on and continue playing futari

I don't get why Cave just don't let us know one way or the other, as the decision has obviously been made. The lack of information and the localisation announcements sort of convince me it will be locked though.

The original was my favourite PS2 port and my game of choice after a heavy DOJ session!

Are there any previews (prelistens?) out anywhere? Is it just the original stuff or arranged? Hell, does anyone HAVE it already and have some impressions? I know we have some surly scoundrels scouring these seven seas, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone had already struck booty.

Kind of a gyp, but since an Arrange ST was included with the original release, it makes some sense. I need to get around to canceling my NCS pre-order, I think.

Does anyone know if they're going to have arranged tracks in the game? I liked the fact that you could change original and arranged soundtracks in the option menu of Esp 1. But the past 2 cave games never had this option which was kind of a downer.
