Does anyone have this setup at home ? Does it works ?
A friend has it at home. It does what it's supposed to do - and that quite nicely.
Also, how do you connect XRGB3 to HD-PVR ?!
you don't because the XRGB-3 can't output the resolutions the HD-PVR would accept (which is either SD interlaced or 720p or 1080i). Unfortunately the XRGB-3 does only output PC monitor resolutions.
The HD-PVR can nicely be used for direct capture from PS2 (480i component) and 720p (360 & PS3 via component). Paired with a proper video processor (e.g. iScan HD) you can use it to capture every source (240p, 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i) upscaled to one of the accepted resolutions. On other hand I'd rather choose a Blackmagic Intensity then.
