I didn't buy ketsui because of some obsession over shmups. I was into video game collecting long before going to your meets. And I'd been collecting arcade pcbs of games I really liked for a while. So to me buying ketsui was just another part of my collecting hobby. And my ketsui playing is fairly casual unless I'm really close to some sort of new score or something. But I play any game that wayjonny5 wrote:considering you didnt even play shmups last year and now you own ketsui.....ya...i think these meets can definitely lead to obsession.....cave games have a habit of doing that to people
ThanksDrakon wrote:nice collection wizshaw. What're your favourite aes games that you have? (or mvs if you collect those). Or what do you consider the best parts of your collection?jonny5 wrote:considering you didnt even play shmups last year and now you own ketsui.....ya...i think these meets can definitely lead to obsession.....cave games have a habit of doing that to people
Methinks obsession/addiction is a sore spot for Drakon...Drakon wrote:I didn't buy ketsui because of some obsession over shmups. I was into video game collecting long before going to your meets. Ok, well I get that, but a cow???? I mean shouldn’t it be colourful ships with mass bullets on the screen. I mean only the elite could defend against something like that... why not showcase the prowess of such skill? All the cow can do is give you a squirt of milk, sure you can aim them but they really can’t be compared.jonny5 wrote:its KDF actually....ketsui defense force.....it relates to the past years top25...we were campaigning to get ketsui in the list this year....![]()
ya
oh..... I actually thought the word might have a meaning relating to the cow... but blah... I should give my avatar a halo... the sacred beaker...SFKhoa wrote:Ketsui's a sacred cow. Hence the halo.
Only at this very moment did I realize it's a cow.WizShaw wrote:cow
it was kinda inside joke....SonicR started a thread about ketsui being over-rated and kept calling it a sacred cow....we took it a few steps further....SFKhoa wrote:Ketsui's a sacred cow. Hence the halo.

Depends on the pad you're using but some of the 360 pads use security torx screws (torx with a pin in the center).SFKhoa wrote:You guys have screwdrivers too, right?
I'm looking into performing this mod for my controller.

You're welcome man.SFKhoa wrote:Lots of fun happened in this meet due to Futari Novice/Black Label/Arrange. I'm actually surprised none of us went to Sushi Time today as we usually would. Oh well, more money saved.
Thanks again for the ride, WizShaw. I really appreciate it.
for sure man.....if i had a tate-able cab with a hi-res monitor i would be all over that shitASK wrote:Sorry about the whole falling asleep thing KoaI was nursing a minor hangover from my work's Christmas party the night before. The Futari port is a lot of fun, really looking forward to my copy coming (better get here before Christmas
), and it's even more tempting now to get a 360 setup to throw into my cab. I'd really like to know if ESP2 is gonna be region free though. Guess we'll wait and see...
