This was a problem the first few days for me, but I'm finding them far more reliable than human teammates now. If you're close by, they'll save you quickly more often than not. Sometimes they're blind to something a foot away (usually when constricted by a smoker), but playing some online will put things in perspective. I think playing single player can be fun when speeding through, but you can't play versus alone (hah). As fun as the campaigns are, you have to try versus. I don't think you'll ever see a charger remove someone from a hotel window in single player. Scavenge is surprisingly fun, too.jonny5 wrote:i tryed advanced but the AI characters are dumb and dont do what they should....like save my ass![]()
These criticisms are so cross eyed. If this content could have (should've) been added incrementally to L4D1, L4D2 would be L4D1. The spotlight and community would naturally shift to the new content, but even with the new game buzz people still play L4D1 if you really want to keep at it. I've also played it to death and never need to see those campaigns and hunter-smoker-boomer combos in versus again.Elixir wrote:Game's sequel adds content which could have been added in the original version.
Game's sequel takes away the spotlight and community eye of the original.
Spoiled kids "boycotting" one of the only games worth paying for is always funny. At least they're making a stand for something that really matters. No dedicated servers in MW2 and no Christmas in July from Valve. PC gaming is dead!
