For whatever it's worth, Kotaku says the game will be on PC and XBLA, but I don't know where they got that info, as offhand I don't see anything on the site that mentions this.

They probably got it where they get most of their info: they make it up.

I was under the impression they just got it from other news sites. all of the articles ive ever read have links at the bottom of other news sites which origianly found it, or took it from someone else.
I always enjoyed Toki, although I'll admit it's not really that much of a standout game. If this does hit XBLA and it's priced reasonably I'll pick it up.

Hmm... I can't point my finger on it but something about the look bugs me. Aside from that horrible font, that is.
Maybe higher contrast coupled with nice scanlines make it look a bit better.

I may sound like a weaboo, but perhaps it looks so odd because it has an americanized style to it. Toki looks like Ron Perlman. (Or maybe it's the other way around?)
FRO wrote:My only question is, why Toki? It's an okay game, but certainly not a "classic screaming for an update". Surely they could have used an art style like that to redo something more fun like Decapattack, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, or something that would lend itself to the real stylized look & feel they were going for.
Perhaps the license was very cheap. TAD isn't Capcom or SEGA you know...
True. I suppose the licensing cost factors in, but I don't know. I wouldn't have chosen Toki as the first game to showcase my talents as an "HD Remix" kind of company, you know?

After reading that interview, it's pretty clear why Toki was chosen (the head of this new team was involved already in the Amiga port).
