Depends on whereabouts on the planet you are. NCSX always take longer to deliver to the UK than P-A and their delivery prices are higher, to boot.

That said, given the hash that P-A made of the DS LE situation, there's a good chance that NCSX would be quicker than them to anywhere, where this particular release is concerned. Just a shame that they take a lot longer to even start accepting pre-orders.

Question for those who have played it...

The "child pods" that you have, from what I understand they lock onto what enemy is closest to them when you hold the shot button down. So, does this mean you can lock on, and then go work on another enemy while they are doing their thing? A little bit like 19xx, I suppose.

Just wondering, because that would be cool.

Er, that's only Reko B and they only work when you're using auto. It isn't as thrilling as it sounds, as she's really difficult to control.

... because she is faster when you're holding her shot down.
Really weird.

How long had the LE been avaliable on amazon.co.jp before they all sold out?

the colored buttons look hideous but i think overall the MF stick looks better than the DS stick.

Just watching some superplays of this...the last stage music, and the last boss' music, is awesome. That whole stage looks pretty cool too.

Ugh, Hori, I would rather have an arcade stick with Sanwa parts, rather than Semitsu.
I already have a Virtua Stick High Grade I use for tetris, and I plan on getting a J-360 sometime, maybe I should go for FSTE.

So the Death Smiles stick has a Sanwa stick and Hori buttons.
And the Futari stick has a Seimitsu stick and Hori buttons.

I don't know what they're doing. Why restrict the buttons to their own kind? They're probably already aware that everyone ditches them for something else.

I want this LE. Hopefully the distribution clusterfuck doesn't happen a—who am I kidding. It will.

...Did someone really look at that colorful-ass stick and think "OH I KNOW, BLACK BUTTONS/PANEL"?

Less expensive for them to make the end user buttonswap.

Those are not 1337.
Seriously most people here want arcade authenticity, not that you can get this with console crap to begin with...

Personally I'm a Seimistsu stick, Sanwa button + ball-top whore. They control the best and look the best on my Egret collection.

I don't like Sanwas so much for shooters.
If you rest your fingers on the button there is a good chance you accidentally blow off a bomb etc.
One gets used to it, but i don't think it's ideal.
Thats why i like my buttons with some resistance, and hori / seimitsu buttons deliver.

See, the stage 2 music is good, but my first impression was that it didn't fit an ice stage very well. Part of me thinks tropical when the track starts. :?

I don't know. Maybe my mind just doesn't process music right

i kinda agree, but who cares if the song is fitting to the ice theme?
it is a very happy tune, and canceling insane amounts of purple vomit while cashing in HUGE bonuses makes every gamer happy, so it fits perfectly fine

They wear out too quickly, especially when playing shmups regularly.
