First Japan-made XNA game, 240 points and a nice looking Doujin Shoot'em up.
Has anyone tried it yet ??

since recently, yes. If you click on the XNA info page linked above you can see for which regions the game has been submitted by the programmer. A developer can decide to submit to the USA only, but why should he ?An XNA shooter available in the UK?
Yeah - I spotted that on the info page. I guess it was a rhetorical question I was asking.Fudoh wrote:since recently, yes. unfortunately, as of now (AFAIK), you cant play them while offline. you HAVE to be online to fire them up (even if you paid for it), after that, you can go offline if you want... but still is a hazzle to have to be online just to fire up the game.emphatic wrote:Do you have to be online while playing it as well? Or can I download the game, disconnect and fire it up whenever?

In US dollars, 240pts. would be the equivalent of 3 bucks.Shatterhand wrote:just out of curiosity, how much $$$ is 240 points?
And is this just 1 level?
This. It was entertaining - in a very boring, hypnotising way - up until that point. Still, I'll probably lay down the cash for it, if only to show support on principle.Elixir wrote:Oh yeah, enemies that spawn ON YOU. That's always fun.

For those wondering about this, it seems to be the character's belt.sjewkestheloon wrote:Her patterns were pretty cool but I ended up dying due to hitbox location problems.
Not going to happen.Kaspal wrote:how about we some how complain to M$ so that they at least consider droping that policy of havin to go online b4 you play any of the XBL.CGs?
Also, hidden control. LB slows you to half speed. 'Great for loop 3.Kiken wrote:For those wondering about this, it seems to be the character's belt.sjewkestheloon wrote:Her patterns were pretty cool but I ended up dying due to hitbox location problems.

Which won't be for another five years, I know, but it's guaranteed to be an issue eventually.

While i think the whole debate about being offline or not is silly, since most the world runs on broadband. With dial-up being barely used anymore, you don't have to connect to do anything and in those rare times your connection goes down is the first thing you're going to be thinking is i want to play crescendo symphony?Kaspal wrote:^^^^ this...E. also, what happens if for some reason, you windup without an internet connection one day, or you take your lovely console to a place where theres no internet either, and you wanna play some of those XBL-CG that you PAID for?...
i understand why they are doing it, but they should come up with a way of circumvent that... having to be online to fire up a game is BULLSHIT. Say, the game happened to have racial or xenophobic content?... they SHOULD TAKE IT DOWN from their servers, i agreee, but if you paid for it, is still your problem, you have a license to play it, and you should play it whenever you want, with or without internet connection. what im trying to say here, is that they should somehow put some kinda filter before releasing those games... i know for a fact that those games are tested by the comunity b4 being "unleashed"... well, they should take that into account, or something!.
thats what makes the desicion of buying XBL-CG games for me... the games can be good, but i dont like to be online just to do something i could ver well do while offline.
PS im sorry for the offtopic.

But, i do agree that the DRM is an issue that should be fixed. As of now MS is butt-fucking us in the future-present.
