Anyone feel that Wii Sports Resort (w/ motion plus) is essentially Nintendo redoing exactly what they did with the Wii launch (but, maybe, getting it right this time?) It is really strange to see a title that may not offer much more than Wii sports + Wii play, with the exception that they're basically saying 'Look, we've really fixed it up this time!'
Actually, I think there's a bit more than that. I'm suspicious this is more than just marketing the motion plus. Truth is, a lot of developers really haven't taken to the wii; maybe this is another tech demo to effectively put a lot of ideas/coding into the hands of third party programmers and saying 'look here, this is what you can do.'

Eugenics: you know it's right!
I won't be trying Wii Sports, but I'll check out the Motion Plus when it's available inside a Wiimote and some homebrew has been written to take advantage of it in a sane way.
The crap that's come out since hasn't diminished my memories of WarioWare: Twisted. Not a perfect sequel, but a functional one.
We are ungrateful indeed to knock a console so fully hacked, and with so much potential to remain profitable anyway. "Casuals" are for us to USE, like PopCap's Zuma used Mitchell's Puzz Loop.
