I bought my japanese 360 for Futari, pretty much.

I'm over the whole raiden thing, I've played part 4 in the arcade and it seems just like part 3, which was cool for about 5 minutes.

It’s more likely there will be a region mod for the Xbox360. Only then I might consider getting a PAL 360 and modding it my self.
One game?

What about the Raiden Fighters comp, Shooting Love 200X, DDP: DOJ Black Label, Deathsmiles, Ketsui, the Konami one I can't spell (Otomedius?), etc...

So, it would seem that there will never be a Raiden 4 PC port then?! :?
Correct me if I'm wrong...

Really unlikely at this point, especially now that the arcade board has been pirated and hacked.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Indeed. Whatever profit there was to be had now is literally gone. DLC like the one pulled of on the 360 wouldn't work that well on PC either =/

Moss must really be wanting to shoot themselves by now, especially after the great Raiden III port.

Not to mention DDP DFK 1.5, DDP DFK BL, Akai Kitana, and Shiki 3 if you don't have a wii. Hell, all I have fom those is Ketsui, and it was still worth it :D

Please excuse my ignorance but what is "DLC" and why wouldn't work well on the PC?

Well in that case it wont be long until its available as a Rom (if not all ready) and a MAME compatible driver, thus playable on the PC.

But anyhow, where did you get the source that it was actually pirated & hacked?

Just got the J360 version and am blown away. Left this till almost last on the list of shooters to get on this machine, owing to it's simularities with III, but it's an absolutely perfect refinement, (I believe) the enemy attacks get just that bit more viscious, but the ship's hitbox has been slightly reduced to compensate.
You can actually squeeze through some of the tighter patterns now instead of having to fly right around them :)

Complaints about ship speed are kinda silly. the games design is geared right around it.

And yes, this game will kick your arse. I love it.
