But yeah if there's anything us Shmuppers don't need it's less of anything. More games! More lolis, more steampunk, more cyberpunk, more spaceships, more cute-em-ups, more glow squid, more insect princesses, more lime jelly, more cool planes and cool pilots!

There's always the indie shmup 'Space Phallus' if you don't like loli characters in your shmups.

I used to be really into King of Fighters, until the roster expansion firmly went the emo drag queen/ underage girl route.

Same for shmups really.
