yea thats a major bummer right there, but I think there are light gun games made to work on LCD/Plasmas now, technology has moved forward.D wrote:This is why piracy is in some cases better.jonny5 wrote:if they are backups region of the gun or console do not matter![]()
Also light guns do not work on lcd/plasma's, beware!

Where could I E-mail or mail to if I want to address my ideas and Opinions?
it has nothing to do with the game....its about how the gun interacts with the screen....most LCD/HD solutions require sensors around the screenKhan wrote:yea thats a major bummer right there, but I think there are light gun games made to work on LCD/Plasmas now, technology has moved forward.D wrote:This is why piracy is in some cases better.jonny5 wrote:if they are backups region of the gun or console do not matter![]()

Depends on your TV.P_HAT wrote:1) Does US/JP ver of DC light gun work with EUR console or you must have a EUR gun?
If you have a 60Hz SDTV NTSC DC guns will work.
A warning though: No light guns will work on 100Hz TVs.
If your TV equipment is all new and HD, you might just wanna get a Wii with House of the Dead or something.
You misunderstood, I already know that!jonny5 wrote:it has nothing to do with the game....its about how the gun interacts with the screen....most LCD/HD solutions require sensors around the screenKhan wrote:yea thats a major bummer right there, but I think there are light gun games made to work on LCD/Plasmas now, technology has moved forward.D wrote:This is why piracy is in some cases better.![]()

I know this is not a thread for suggestions, but you must play

I have this, but it's a nightmare to calibrate and configure. When I want to play a couple of rounds of Vampire Night, Ninja Assault or Dino Crisis I end up spending most of my potential playing time shooting like mad at some calibration screens, without anything happening. And sometimes it works. But it is a very cool feeling gun with a laser dot and recoil system.TodayIsForgotten wrote:As someone mentioned LCD/PLASMA/DLP will not work with guncon guns or any other gun. I think it has something to do with how the scanning works or the lack thereof. In any case you could go this route.
Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.

The DC light guns work fine on VGA, although I had to turn the brightness up on my monitor IIRC. Wasn't really worth it as playing gun games on a small screen is no fun. I'm not sure if a transcoder will work. I know that I couldn't get my Justifier gun to work when playing my Sega CD through an RGB->component transcoder (which introduces no perceptible lag).
Seconded. I love the voiceovers in this game.I know this is not a thread for suggestions, but you must play

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
