I'm about 5 hours into the game. The battles certainly aren't like a typical RPG's. It is making me interested in trying out Namco x Capcom. So far the game is real easy---not a very deep RPG.
Um, are you thick? Atlus can release the OG 1&2 and OG Gaiden at the most over here. Think about it. Just because the Japanese companies can get together and agree to have their characters used in a game in Japan doesn't mean that the American companies who hold the rights to those series for North America will all jump in the same boat like their Japanese counterparts did. So let's say Atlus wants to bring over SRT Alpha 3. Bandai USA owns the Gundam franchise, ADV owns the rights to Evangelion, Harmony Gold refuses to let go of Macross, Dancougar belonged to the late CPM, and other companies own the rights to Getter Robo, Mazinger, etc. Atlus would have to start over from scratch to acquire the licensing that Banpresto already did. It's basically impossible.Erinu wrote:Um. Are you thick? Atlus are allowed to release Banpresto + Namco games for the DS, so what makes you think they won't release them for PS2?
Wow, I didn't know that. Another reason to hate SCEA. Stupid insistence on dubbing games in English, once again. Plus SRT games probably are not "3D" enough. So retarded.Ganelon wrote:They tried to release PS2 OGs but SCEA wouldn't allow them without getting new voices, which obviously wouldn't have been worth the time since it's not like the GBA OG games did all that well.
