I have a brand new, boxed official GameCube RGB Scart cable, if it's any help Am open to offers on it...but I wouldn't be prepared to let it go for too little, given it's rarity

Are you talking about this one? I already have one. I'm looking for a shielded SCART cable with a plug on one end.

Have you tried just moving pin 9 to pin 3? That may work depending on your hardware. Not sure about the other cable you need, sorry.
We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
Oh, I gotcha. I actually have an adapter which does just that (SCART->HD15), only it has a sync stripper built in, which you can enable/disable -in fact the sync stripper doesn't work unless you feed it 5V.
A little pricy, but it does work. Of course, if you'd rather make the cable yourself, which is pretty easily done, a search for 'SCART extension cable' turns up tons of M/F cables.

Very pricy indeed! But, wow! Thank you!

Thanks for the help. But I can't seem to find any high quality extension cables. I only found this one. Its not shielded.
What I can also do is buy a double shielded cable with 9~21 wires already trimmed and ready to solder. Then buy a female plug, open the case and solder away!
Finding the SCART female plug is hard. I've only found one that's for PCB mounting.
