There's no option for a joystick. I can only choose from keyboard keys. Trust me, I opened config before playing the game.

hmm... what type of Controller/joystick do you use? Is it fully DirectInput compliant?

I have no problems with my custom CP running through a Dualshock usb adaptor...

If nothing works download 'Joy to Key' & give it a go, it lets you map controller buttons to keyboard keys...
very useful little tool if you're having problems with other Doujin stuff too.

It's a custom job. The PCB is config'd to work with Windows and it doesn't give me any problems with most other doujins I have. I'll give Joy to Key a shot later on. Thanks!

このバージョンアップ後は過去バージョンと比較して処理が重くなります。
高解像度モードで遊ぶと1GクラスのCPUでも処理落ちが発生します。
このあたり、ご理解のうえでアップデートをお願いします。

・全てのバージョンからver1.10へのアップデートファイルです。
・主なver1.06からの主な変更点は以下の通りです。
　　BGMのOggVorbis対応
　　フォントの高解像度化
　　スコアデータの保存先をインストール先と同じに変更
・その他の修正箇所の詳細は付属のヘルプファイルを参照して下さい。
・アップデート作業は各自の責任で行って下さい。
・本ファイルは製品版にのみ有効です。（体験版はファイル構成が違います）

yes.
Notable changes : OggVorbis BGM and High-resolution fonts. So, technically, there's some graphical improvements.

Kamui 1.09 had ogg music, and I don't really see a difference in the font.

The main thing I do notice is the return of the "bomb sight" overlay when charging the lightning shot. That and the game refusing to acknowledge my key presses at the high score screen.

Why do I get massive slowdown when trying to play Reflex? Don't have this problem with any other doujins- my rig is modest: P4 2Ghz, 2.5Gb RAM and geForce 6600 but it'll play Exception and the rest no problem but Reflex just stutters away...

Anyway-downgraded drivers to 94.24 and now it plays great-and what a fab game
