It's the option right below START when you first load the game. It adds save points every few screens, and when you die you can get a password to use to restart at your save point when you come back to the game. The game still isn't completely repetition-free, but it's better than the normal mode for learning.

Thanks kind of nice. Maybe I'll try that out. I've only played through it before it was done and I managed to make it to the boss but he wasn't done yet so it just ended there.

edit: It sort of kills the fun a little bit. That is, if your idea of fun is getting killed by an unavoidable trap and having the death cause you to start from the beginning (it is for me).

Oh, there's some new cat thing you can fly around on. I got past the first screen on the left with it, but it still says under construction and just gets you killed. You can't get past the cat by falling from up high anymore either.

Clearly different strokes for different folks.

This game isn't about the e-peen or whatever (that's what my slowly improving DDP score is for 8) ), and it certainly has NOTHING to do with reflexes.

I still get a chuckle out of every new and interesting way this game kills me =) It's like watching that hardest super mario game ever or whatever. Just seeing videos of it made me laugh my ass off, and playing it myself would have been no different. I find it oddly compelling to find out what he's going to kill me with next once I've bested the hurdle in the room previoius. It's like a puzzle game of sorts, that requires absurd amounts of platforming precision =)

If you nancies don't like the game, that's cool, but stop insinuating things about those who enjoy it. I'm not a Raizing fan, go rail on them for their taste in entertainment.

Finally figured out the "down" hint everybody's been giving. Wow, the next few screens are awesome! I ended up standing dumbfounded when I got to the bottom, and the next death was hilarious.

I keep getting killed by the Protoman knockoff. Can't really proceed past that without killing him though. =/

Yeah, I love all the fun ways to get killed. Every new one makes me smile.

I gave up on Air Man for a while (チャージショット???) and tried a different route, but haven't beaten X's third form yet.

Stop calling us nancies and we'll stop calling you masochists. :)

I don't think people are really complaining about it being too hard (I'm not, at least), just that it's not hard in a fun way.

Maybe some other key? Or an item?

I don't like getting stuck on the corners of blocks (except when I try, just to be funny, but then I die).

Getting past the block-holding guys doesn't make sense to me. I did it, but what I did shouldn't have worked. I DEMAND A REFUND

I think it's less fun and more funny. It's not going to be everyone's sense of humor, but anyone who's enjoyed Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japanese) will surely be able to get some enjoyment out it.
