be patient..
fellow gamers:
IMO i am pleased that any company has taken the chance (financial/time)to develop a new game for the DC, especially a shmup. the fan base may be extremely limited BUT it is there....that is why this web site exists!!!!!, till the game is released.....and we are playing it....be patient, i do not think that the company wants to release a 'broken' game....there are too many on the next-gen consoles already.

And two more: Acclaim Entertainment.
Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.

I'm afraid to play Broken Thunder. It might scar me for life.Specineff wrote:Two words for you: Broken Thunder.XERO wrote:i do not think that the company wants to release a 'broken' game....there are too many on the next-gen consoles already.
It has an awesome soundtrack, though.

on the site itself it says that there's a possible janurary release for the soundtrack. does that mean that we might be getting the game as well? I've been waiting forever and thank god that there is a preivew mp3 file of the remixes.ROBOTRON wrote:PA says Dux is coming out this month but doesn't give an exact date...anyone have any idea what day this is due out? I pre-ordered it and I'm getting antsy.

I checked my emails today and noticed in "online orders" folder I had Dux sitting in there since November. I had completely forgot I paid up front for this.
To the guys behind the sell through of this title. I would suggest you work overtime to get it out because I am personally not very happy with the way its been handled.
If a delay is inevitable, all people paying via paypal could at least be sent an apology email. I don't like to have to go anywhere to find out something is delayed if I have already paid for it.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
Couldn't agree more. They've been sitting on my money since September (when the expected release date was only a month away).neorichieb1971 wrote:I checked my emails today and noticed in "online orders" folder I had Dux sitting in there since November. Rather than an apology email I'd prefer a T-shirt or a poster or some other kind of sweetener to say "Thankyou" to all the people who prepaid and therefore effectively acted as investors in the project.
The release date has been set back and then set back again and becomes vaguer and vaguer each time. This certainly doesn't encourage any future support for the developer, and I can't really get excited about a Limited Edition soundtrack when there's actually no game to back it up...

I want the game when the developers are happy with it and release it.
I'm perfectly happy to wait for perfection

I'd agree on that as long as you they don't ask you to pay months in advance and finally delay it for multiple times. Anyway, still looking forward to it and hope it's coming soon.rtw wrote:I want the game when the developers are happy with it and release it.

Come to think of it? Why hasn't Id Software tried to sue Microsoft?...and everyone else who dev/published an fps for that matter?

Alas, Ikaruga is going...
Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

Respect is due to Rene Hellwig for such a decent and professional response

This thread is funny.
By the way, wasn't the game supposed to be released in June 2008? (edit: yes)
