does any onw want to help me fund the reality tv program

the lordstar star challenge

I can guarantee it would be the best computer games reality TV program ever made!

its funny though i think it would be a lot more entertaining to take people who have never or played very little games before and train them up as semi pros and see how they did in real tournaments. I think that would make a lot better television than this piece of shit.

the stock parts aren't up to snuff, and the pcb's are suicidal. i own one, but it has sanwa parts swapped in and i'm one of the lucky few who hasn't had any problems with the pcb. hopefully the arrival of the madcatz TE stick serves as a wake-up call to hori to make better quality sticks available outside of japan.

MadCatz TE? Google isn't helping all that much. Any specific brand name to look for, and more to the point is it good for shmupz + cheep?

Street Fighter IV Premium Fightstick Tournament Edition, all Sanwa parts, and it isn't cheap.

Well, I certainly don´t want to see some SK8R DUDE that looks like a plastic-punk drummer and HOT GAMRR CHIX saying stuff like "YOU GUISE".

Spike TV's VGA is the pinnacle of brainless retards trying to milk gamers for money. None of them know the first thing about games. It's pretty embarrasing to watch.

buttons just start flaking out, and soon afterwards the pcb just dies. apparently it has something to do with the xbox 360 security chip that hori uses. loads of people on the srk forums have had this problem, unfortunately.

It's all about the schadenfreude, isn't it? Because of the fact that it's only happening to a select amount of people willing to let television record and broadcast their whining and nerd rage is exactly what everyone wants to see on television nowadays (which is why I don't really watch TV anymore).

I have to agree with the other posters here. Bring in some Street Fighter 4, MvC2, some old, challenging video games, and THEN you have yourselves a show.

Also, none of this reality TV bullshit. And the reality game segments...no. Just...no.

More like pretend whining and nerd rage. As I said before, they're probabally actors. Idiots will fall for it, thus explaining the explosive popularity of reality TV bilge.

I would think they're real people, but a certain type of real people...

Screenwipe did an episode on elimination shows that you might find worth a watch, mainly the latter half when they make their own.
