Yeah, I find the actual dashboard to be a bizarre mess, nothing really makes any sense at all. My favourite is the way each 'channel' lays items out horizontally, with things getting smaller to the right. Because it's focused on the far left item, if you move right a few times you don't know what pages are on the left. This is an epic interface failure.

My other pet hate is any time you go to the dash, even if you're on 'My Xbox', go to the guide, and choose dash, it dumps you back on the advert (spotlight) channel.

There seems to be two, sometimes even three ways of doing everything, just try navigating the settings, if you can find them now.

I can't believe it got through testing, awful crap - smacks of being designed in a boardroom rather than by people who know what the fuck they're doing.

And don't even get me started on avatards.

I have no issues finding may way around.

You just move up or down to go through the sections that we had before plus a few more. Then move left or right to get to the subsection you want.

Maybe it's b/c I don't really do much with my 360 other then drop a disc in it and start it up. I occasionally download a demo or watch a downloaded move from my PC.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

You basically have two dashboards which is pretty pointless. The first one (newer one) is a GPU melting mess which will slowly eat your HDD away, and the second one is perfectly fine but hidden from view. New 360 owners are going to be so fucking confused when they hit up Live for the first time and discover the new dashboard/s.

I don't really mind but the party thing is useless. You can no longer invite non-friends to games without inviting them to your party also, which is stupid because I disconnected unintentionally yesterday while playing against a guy who stuck around for hours, so I decided to invite him but couldn't. I had to add him to my friends list and by that time, he was offline. It's a bit tedious but eh, I guess it's to prevent strangers from mass inviting people into games.

The HDD install thing is great though. It's just like playing an arcade game; the graphics, gameplay, and flow of the game are all there but your console no longer sounds like it's a 1970's freezer. Too bad I can only install a single game at a time, unless I decide to purchase a 120 GB HDD for $190 or 60 GB HDD for $100, which I won't because those prices are way beyond what you can buy space for these days.

its been almost two months now...

I'm just posting this because I'm piss off and fed up with this "New Xbox Experience"

All it is is a big fucking cluster fuck of advertisements. I cannot be bothered with these things taking up my dashboard. I pressed a button too quick and got into some advert about some fucking movie and just pulled the cable out the back because its too slow for me to cancel out of it!

I HATE advertisements and the devil that is the industry of advertising.

All this NXE is is a big billboard to shovel more shit into the face of the people... I don't know what is worse, the xbox 360 dpad or the whole NXE dashvertisements.
