Damn. How could I forget Dexter? It's so funny and well written. Especially if you've read the books. First time I think an adaptation is actually superior to the source material.

Also, Arrested Development is crazy funny.

The last time I watched TV was (at least) 10 years ago. Since then I sold my TV and never had the urge to buy one again.
I'm having no mobile either, I guess I'm quite a weird guy after all.

The last season of the Venture Brothers was pretty brilliant.

And yeah, okay, I'll admit to digging the new Doctor Who series. Did anyone else catch the Christmas special? Pretty decent. Well, better than the previous one anyway.

Oh, and sometimes... umm...TMZ

As far as old stuff goes, I recently powered through both seasons of Twin Peaks for the first time in many years. This segued nicely into a re-watching of the X-Files from the beginning. Besides Duchovny, about half of the actors from Peaks show up in guest spots throughout the X-Files' first couple of seasons (Heh. Michael Horse gets to play...a Taciturn Native American Police Officer. Hooray for imaginative casting! :D ).

Since it was brought up, I gotta say, I used to love me some Star Trek. Hell, I didn't think Enterprise was all that awful at the time. But you know, I go back and try to watch some of those shows and the depiction of a sterile/militarized/rock'n'roll-free future starts to chafe a bit. TNG seemed particularly egregious after a recent viewing. The OG Trek is still kinda fun though, especially if drinking games ensue.

I don't really watch the box, but I do get the occasional boxset of series.
Obviously Battlestar.
Prison Break series zwei.
OZ - when it was going.
Basically a lot of the HBO output.

I won't touch Lost though.

I haven't seen The Wire. Is it as good as they say?

As for old & rare stuff, I'm still looking for the 1970s series "The Fantastic Journey".

Corner Gas
Doctor Who

I also make an effort to watch Clone Wars and Terminator, although neither of them are all that good. Come to think of it, most of Doctor Who has been shit recently.

Knight Rider [I don't know why, but I do]
Star Trek [TNG and the original, original is better]
Older cartoons [Spongebob, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, etc.]
REALLY old cartoons [Tom and Jerry, Mr Jinks, etc.]
Two and a Half Men
Grey's Anatomy [I REALLY don't know why I do...]
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Fringe - I love the mad scientist guy.

Are You Being Served? - I almost have every episode on my DVR.

Smallville - I'm starting to lose interset...It's like watching Poke;mon...every show is the same.

Wolverine and tthe X-Men - This my next obsession toon I think, its dealt with Mr. Sinister, Mojo World, Bishop, and Emma Frost, etc. The HUlLK had a cxameo in one episode. The future looks great because soon we'll see The Hellfire Club.

The First 48 - I never miss an episode. Pure badass.

Prison Break [Just amazing]
NCIS [Sounds like it would be crap, but watched 6 seasons in about 3 months]
Big Bang Theory [Characters so weird, can't help watching]
Terminator Tv Series [Actually much better than the recent movies]

Next on my list to watch is:
The Unit
The Wire
Survivors [BBC]

I don't have broadcast TV, so everything I watch has to be downloaded/borrowed or on DVD.

Thanks for the info :o . Adebisi was quite a character. In the end Michael Wright as Omar White was my favourite character in OZ.

I enjoy any old UK comedy repeats on TV. Also enjoy watching TNA Impact each week, normally I just download it from the web, then I don't have to watch all the adverts on a saturday night

Just finished Firefly, great stuff. Serenity is an excellent follow-up, too, with great writing. Is Battlestar Galactica (the "new" one) any good? I feel there are lots of seasons (and .5?) seasons, Razor (?), I don't get it at all. Anyone care to comment on this? Cheers.

The sheer badassity of the holodeck compensates for the lack of other quality entertainment

Started in 2006. Shawn is kind of like a early Jim Carrey (pet detective 1), but he doesn't bite Jim Carrey too much. Funny stuff. I like how Lassiter is being ridiculed and also how he always introduces Gus.

Give it a try and let me know what you think. It might not be for everybody. But if you like Ace Ventura 1 I think you should be able to appreciate this. Shawn reminds me of a frined from when I was younger, always got plans to do this and that and always dragging me all over the place.
My wife and I love this show. Light hearted and quite fun(ny)! It's one of the few shows I can watch the same episodes a few times and not get sick of it.

Another very enjoyable show that my wife turned me on to (I'm not a big TV watcher so I'll check out stuff she's into). I just finished season one and I still need to fill in some gaps in season 2 (it's hosted on NBC's site if you missed any season 2 ;) ).

One of my professors really liked it but I didn't like her because she was always so vocal about her unoriginal opinions. Supposedly it's really DEEP but for genuine depth you could read a book on philosophy or something rather than watch a piece of entertainment

I guess as a big Star Trek nerd I'd probably like it though. But I don't really know why I like Star Trek, DS9 and Voyager in particular are often so painfully corny that I have to stop watching, a la the Office when the boss acts really embarrassingly, but I think in Star Trek's case it's unintentional

Seems the only thing I watch on TV is comedy quiz shows... QI, Have I Got News For You, Nevermind the Buzzcocks...

I still go back to Black Books, Spaced, The IT Crowd, Might Boosh and This Morning With Richard Not Judy (which went out live at 10am).

Yeah...it's not bad. The source material (The novel 'Wizard's First Rule' and the following books) is WAY WAY better and far more badass.

The new Battlestar Galactica is NOT like the old one. You may or may not like it, but it's a really serious drama type thing. I don't really like that sort of show so I don't like it. The classic series was an epic romp through the galaxy, full of campy situations and shiny metal cylons and bright lasers. I love all of that. The new one, on the other hand, is gritty, violent, and full of all that crap that all modern franchise-reboots are known for.

I would definitely check out Spaced and Black Books. Little Britain and The Mighty Boosh are a little more 'acquired taste' but good if you like it. If you like The Office there's always Extras.

Or if you don't mind going back a bit, you've got things like Big Train, The Day Today, Time Trumpet, Red Dwarf, etc.

Late Edit: Forgot the 'y' twice now...
