Hello!
Thank you for your interest in our title. We are still intending to release this title but unexpected delays have caused us to push back the release date. We want to make sure the title meets a certain level of quality before being released to the public and translating a title from one console to another, even though it is a compilation, is a lot more complex and time consuming. Please continue to check our website and watch for when the title drops in your favorite retail stores! Thanks!
Here is the proof. Just be happy that its not cancelled and will be out eventually. The game has the same plague as Rygar Battle of Argus being constantly delayed.

Alright, as long as we are sitting around speculating as to what the hold up may be, I will throw my conspiracy theory into the hat.
Quality? Problems with localization? Bullshit.
No room on retail shelves? Bullshit. (A number of major players are already listing it).
If you ask me - it is being intentionally delayed to avoid being lost in the holiday hype.

Yeah, that's kind of been my impression too--that last few times they've delayed it were to avoid being lost in other games' hype, but they've delayed it so many times now it's hard to keep thinking that.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

they really could be having problems other than getting it here. I remember gran turismo 2 was delayed 4 times and 3 of them were because they had bands say sure use our music in the game then the labels would pull the music out and the last one was because of some weird error in the making of the game discs you couldn't get 100% on the game.

GameStop has it listed as shipping on the 20th of next month. I guess we can rule out that UFO didn't want it to get lost in Wii games in December, because there hardly are any!BulletMagnet wrote:Like this game isn't going to get lost in the shuffle no matter when they release it?

I have a few questions for anyone who already has this.
What sorts of options are there in the games? There are at least difficulty settings, right? And if so, do the high score tables differentiate between the settings? I know it doesn't in Chaos Field: Expanded.
And I will repeat a previous question: Do any of the games, particularly Karous, contain their Dreamcast port slowdown? It would be nice if Milestone at least made these perfect ports, since they declined to add in any extra modes.

Karous Wii:
Slowdown - Slowdown is present as in the DC version.
Load Times - Same as DC version.
Saves - Scores are saved this time depending what mode you choose.
Chaos Field Wii:
Slowdown - Same as DC version. The game will slowdown when you lock-on to too many bullets.
Load Times - Same as DC version.
Saves - Scores are saved this time. It doesn't matter what difficulty you choose, it saves to it's only leaderboard.
Radirgy Wii:
Slowdown -

Load Times - Same as DC version. GC version had no load time whatsoever.
Saves - Scores are saved this time. It doesn't matter what difficulty you choose, it saves to it's only leaderboard.

Something very important you need to remember regarding MSC.
If you plan on playing Karous or Radirgy in Tate Mode, you have enter a code every time you boot up the game so your controls become Tate.
The code is - Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, 1, 2.
Enter the code with the Wiimote on the Main Menu. If you do it correctly you will hear a sound.

What?! Are you serious? That's ridiculous! They already made a SLOWDOWN FREE Gamecube port. How do you screw a Wii port up? Damnit, I was REALLY looking forward to playing this with a Classic controller. Guess I'll stick with the Gamecube version now. Gonna need to fix one of my failing D-Pads pretty soon if I want to play it seriously again though.maxmultiplier wrote:Chaos Field Wii:

That's quite interesting that they differentiate between difficulty modes when scoring in Karous, but not the two other games.

According to Gamestop, the 20th. Of course, it remains to be seen whether they make this date...I'm still curious about whether tate mode is in this, as I've been receiving conflicted signals.

Tate mode is very much in this collection. It's located in "Options".
You have to put in the code if you want your controls to match Tate mode.
If you dont put in the code, your controls will be as if you are playing in yoko mode even though your screen/TV is Tate'd.
The "Start Screen", "Game Select Screen", "Options", & "Sound Test" will always remain in Yoko mode even if you turn on Tate mode.
The only time Tate mode becomes activated is when you chose Karous or Radirgy on the Game Select Screen.
