Yeah, I made a puzzle game. It's called MarbleMatch. It's free. Play it. :3

There's also a minigame called MarbleDrop, it's somewhat like columns except with marbles falling from all four directions. You access it from the level select by clicking MarbleDrop. I'm considering making a stand-alone version of it with an online highscore, and probabally some more gameplay modes (Levels with a non-random set of marbles that fall, and pre-placed marbles, with a time limit). Would appreciate any feedback on this as well.
And yes the music is pure cheeze, you can turn it off >_<
Calling all puzzle game fans ..

There is another cool puzzler called Zoop that has the same idea of puzzle shapes bombarding the player from all four sides. Tends to get frantic really quick, especially if you mess up in the later stages. The Atari Jaguar version of Zoop could save your high scores + intials directly to the cartridge itself for posterity (can't say that for the SNES or Genesis versions of the same name though). ^_~

I checked this one out .. pretty interesting concept. I couldn't really get into it though. The only real similarity is that pieces come from all 4 directions.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:There is another cool puzzler called Zoop that has the same idea of puzzle shapes bombarding the player from all four sides. I tried your game just now. With a little more 'up to date' polish (ie. alpha channels and hand-drawn images given the Photoshop treatment) it would be a nice casual game. I wonder if having to think about two things at the same time would turn those players off though...
Have you considered the casual pc market as a 'byroad' to getting your games on XBLA?

Trust me, the first couple levels might be considered "casual" but eventually it gets pretty difficult. I guess you could split up the levels into sets .. 20 levels per set, with labels like Beginner, Intermediate, Hard, Crazy .. etc.320x240 wrote:I tried your game just now. As soon as I found out you had to pay thousands of dollars to get your game "Approved" by Microsoft .. I really lost interest. That and they take a pretty big cut of any profits earned. I'd rather keep my own games free and accessable to anyone with a decent PC.320x240 wrote:Have you considered the casual pc market as a 'byroad' to getting your games on XBLA?
