Vigilante: One thing really awesome about it is the first boss insta-kill. Knock him on his ass, then hold D and spam P+K,P+K,P+K rapidly (won't work if you have nunchucks). It sounds like a machine gun and the boss will go down in about 2 seconds. The boss voiceover which sounds like "Haycommer!" is hilarious thanks to the speech synthesis, maybe even a little bit more on the 3 Megabit TG-16 version. Hitting the enemy produces some nice "KRAK! KRAK! SHPLAKK!" impact sounds on the arcade version. Some of the bosses can even be socked in the family jewels.
Spike Out Battle Street (Xbox) : Better than Fighting Force IMO. Thanks to Shinji Hosoe & Ayako Saso, this one sounds great as well.
Ninja Warriors "Again" (SNES) : The SFII-style jump-in combos and "meaty attacks" raise the ownage factor. Especially awesome when you play on Hard mode.

My first exposure to this game was on the SMS. I was curious how the PS2 re-release was...
The PS2 re-release of AS has decent graphics, but your character's movement speed is relatively SLOW on that one. You don't have enough time to save all the hostages, which is actually pretty easy to do on the arcade.
Kinect? KIN NOT.
