Double Dragon series
Battletoad series
Double Dragon + Battletoads ( I like the sega version)
River City Ransom (from what I hear)
Bad Dudes ( an aquired taste)
Streets of Rage series
Fist of the North Star
Kung Fu ( good for a laugh)
God Hand (from what I hear)
Beat Down (grasping for straws here?)
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

Gaia Crusaders
The King of Dragons (I prefer it over the DnD games)

Trying to remember the one where you turn into a werewolf or a lizardman or something. It's pretty easy, because I was able to get quite a few stages in on my first try.

No love for the original aliens movie game?

lots of stuff been mentioned already which I can see.

hummm vendetta and the D&D capcom games. Bucky o hare (which i think is crap compared to TMNT and simpsosn. Cows pf moomessa (never played that though)

The oriental legends games I hear are fantastic and afordable if you can track them down.

since i got my mame setup in the cab this is all the shiz i've been playing... most of the weird ones/obscure have been mentioned tho

night slashers is very cool ! crime fighters 2 is also pretty good altho it's hard to get used to not jumping! spiderman the arcade game is good as well altho it has platform sections.. check out the graphics on arabian fight as well.the baddies come from the front of the screen using some pretty awesome scaling effects..
theres deffo some more i've been playing that are worth a mention but they all start to get a bit samey after a while and i've forgotten the names..
