Yes. INH released another version which comes with a data dvd along with the game and OST. I emailed VGMWorld and they said they got that version so I ordered it. The data disc contains enemy ship data, strategies and concept drawings. It's actually a pdf file dvd. Link: http://raiden4.air-nifty.com/blog/2008/ ... -fc8f.htmlStrider77 wrote:data disc?
they ALL come packed with the remix/soundtrack CD right?
Official Raiden IV thread
we can wish for it... but chances are, they wont. too bad, i'd get myself a couple copies (for me and my bro) of that one... loved it on the arcades about 8 years ago, love it on mame, and i'd love it even more on my X360.Jockel wrote::< man they should at least release RF Aces for the Xbox360 in the US or Europe, finally.
I generally don't like the Raiden series, but this game is fucking great. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the music in it, and it controls really well.
Still hate some of the design choices. The insanely fast bullet sprays make my head huirt, and I hate the popcorn enemies that come down the sides of the screen and shoot at you. Gah!

Well there you go.
Also!
This a VERY nice package.
You have Xbox360 mode (which is an arrange with 2 extra bosses) and the arcade original. Game runs beautifully. Also, the "Leaderboard" bit is totally seperate from the regular Xbox360/Arcade modes, and within the "World Ranking" mode you have can play the 360 version or the Arcade version, each with their own leader board.
There's also a Score Attack Mode, in which you unlock levels via completing levels in Xbox360 Mode. I kind of don't like that... because it really makes you want to credit feed (and the achievements are definitely more for credit feeders). But, its still neat. Lots of cool achievements tied to secret missions in Score Attack as well.
And then there's Dual Mode. Which I haven't played yet. Dunno what that is.
But, all in all its a damn nice package and a damn fine game. I like it more than Shikigami no Shiro III. Its not Raiden Fighters good, but I'd give it a solid B.

Nice to hear that it's an excellent port for the Xbox 360 version. I guess whatever reason Moss delayed for a month paid off as everything seems to work fine like you said. Anyway I just sent a suggestion to Moss asking if they will be considering making a PC port.jp wrote:Well there you go.

Workaround? First make sure you have a Japanese or Asian XBL gold account. For those with other region accounts, don't count on purchasing any MS points for Japanese marketplace.hermosaguy wrote:Is there any other way or workaround to purchase the other ships? I tried setting the language and region of my J-360 to Japan, but it won't connect me to Live
My account is an Asian XBL gold, so I'm able to set up a Japanese XBL silver account, then purchase a Jap XBL points card and use it there.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, to shame others for thinking like this is kind of demeaning. I for one hate to see the buying of "extra items" that does nothing useful but be a gimmick, just like maplestory does. Some extra stuff from XBL I approve, but some downright pisses me off (like ToV's level and cash up).
O_O !!!
This is horrible.
We are expected to spend REAL money that we earn at our careers to purchase additional content?
So the ones with the biggest pocketbook will reap the benefits and the ones who play the games will suffer.
May as well offer the final level for sale too for the schmucks who can't be bothered to try to reach that point with putting time to actually play the game.
Fuck it, may as well ship a game with a couple stages. Call it practice mode and consumers can pay full retail. Then for additional cost, you can purchase the arcade mode and for even more of your hard earned money, you can purchase the special 360 Hi-Deff mode. But that will be extra for the HD graphics.

i cant help it but laugh at your rant.. but yea, i feel your pain. chargin for an extra ship on a shmup is nonsense. ppl in the racing games are used to pay for extra content (additional tracks and cars in a single pack), but paying for a single ship?...OmniGLH wrote:O_O !!!

yeah, if they're not on there now and as time goes they've made it so they can be added I don't see all the fuss.
adding new cars, tracks, levels ect as time goes by is ok with me. if they were all there now but you had to pay it'd be a bit dumb.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I'm number 80 in the world ranking for Xbox360 mode. The game gets stuck loading when I try to look at my Arcade ranking though.

Its probably higher though. I believe that score was around 16-17million. So close to 20!!!
Probably going to credit feed Xbox360 Mode though so I can unlock all the score attack stages and can get crackin' on those achievements.

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!!!!
i cant help but envy you!... unless theres a workaround in the commin years, i think im gonna bite the bullet and get a jp-x360 T_Tjp wrote:PsikyoPshumpPshooterP wrote:see you on the leaderboards,jp!
