Standard. there was a funny noise and some text after I entered my initials and it asked me to press the A button. I unlocked something, but I'm not too sure what it is.
I've been using the first two helicopters and the third definately has a faster rate of fire (probably why I never noticed before as I've hardly used it)
means:
hypnotic: attracting and holding interest as if by a spell; "read the bedtime story in a hypnotic voice"; "she had a warm mesmeric charm"; "the sheer force of his presence was mesmerizing"; "a spellbinding description of life in ancient Rome"
A little bit perhaps, but I could see how it could to others.
There are however a few things I discovered.
Pressing LEFT and A during demo/title screens, etc skips the current screen and goes to the next.

Is there anything new in the second loop? I just found that on normal setting and higher it lets you play more loops.
Does it unlock free play at the end, or just a high number of credits?
And finally, can you dodge the final bosses laser attack (the one where all the rocks float in)? I can't seem to handle that yet.
1. The loop is more bullets (death bullets) plus different color backgrounds.
2. Freeplay is unlocked after 9 credits, I think.
3. Yes, of course. While the rocks are on the screen the boss is targeting you. Move away from the front of it / don't let it "lock on" to you. This requires destroying a few rocks, so you can move around. If you hit a rock, boss locks onto you and you're dead.
