They're all free for download and have pretty fun game play with unique bullet patterns.

Yeah, great idea! Put it in the main game loop for extra fun ;D320x240 wrote:I would be surprised if the creator isn't a member here. Therefore I have one suggestion:Code: Select all

They've been pretty quiet lately, which is a shame. I happen to like Force Majeure quite a bit, shows considerable promise.GrimoreLibrarian wrote:Edit: It's not done, and seeing how the forum has been inactive since February I have high doubts it will be finished.
hey dude, welcome to the sitefsFreak wrote:I know the thread is a bit old and all, but what the hell...
We're well aware of the the few quirks, and the release date.
As some of you know, this was just a demo, or more like a quick mash-up, to get something to show for the autofire 2k7 compo (which we placed third in I believe). The final game (which we have every intention of finish) will probably not feature this stage, enemy-patterns or bullet patterns.
And yeah, winter 2007 was WAY to optimistic. Sadly all of us have fulltime jobs (me as a programmer, artist as an artist etc.) so sometimes it can be a bit hard to do the exact thing at home that you deal with at work all day long
But as I said, we DO have every intention of completing this game. And when we do it's gonna kick ass.
Also, thanks for commenting on Blessed, which I myself think is a very 'complete' game. (Far more complete than most indie shoot'em ups.)
EDIT:
also our page is down at the moment( http://www.daikenkai.com/monokey/ ) since I had to reinstall the server. But it will be up when we got something to actually put there. For now the games can be found at:
