Looks like Shiki, only (even) more cartooned up. Not feeling that at all.FrederikJurk wrote:Wow, I was just taking a wild guess, and I´m surprised I even remembered this in the first place.

I´m really wondering how this will turn out, doesn´t really look like G.Rev at all...
Do keep in mind the reason why Border Down was created was due to a successful turnout of a rather generic puzzle game called Doki Doki Idol Star Seeker. I'm guessing that they're throwing in a somewhat similar art style into this shmup.FrederikJurk wrote:Wow, I was just taking a wild guess, and Iエm surprised I even remembered this in the first place.

From recent knowledge, probably brewing up a spiritual sequel for Sin and Punishment for Wii...though that's not really a shmup in a sense.subcons wrote:Looks like Shiki, only (even) more cartooned up. What has Treasure been up to lately?

Whoah whoah where did you hear that? If that's true I'm really excited!Aru-san wrote: From recent knowledge, probably brewing up a spiritual sequel for Sin and Punishment for Wii...though that's not really a shmup in a sense.
From GoNintendo, from Nintendo Power:kengou wrote:Whoah whoah where did you hear that? If that's true I'm really excited!Aru-san wrote: From recent knowledge, probably brewing up a spiritual sequel for Sin and Punishment for Wii...though that's not really a shmup in a sense.
Wow...you think it looks like crap? I only saw the screenies today and actually was pretty impressed by what I saw...perhaps I'm just a cheap date. If the gameplay matches the visuals (provided that they're smooth), I think that I'll be quite happy with it. Something I'm quite looking forward to playing, anyway.GaijinPunch wrote:The problem w/ Mamoru-kun is that in game it looks like utter crap. And AFAIK, Moss staff make up half of Gulti. I assume the next Cave game will be announced a week or so before the AM Show, and be showcased there. Most likely Yagawa's turn.
The "System" page has been added as of today, but it doesn't do me a whole lot of good since I can't read a lick of Japanese. Still, it's obviously a joystick-and-two-buttons game from what's shown.FrederikJurk wrote:Wow, I was just taking a wild guess, and I´m surprised I even remembered this in the first place.

Exactly. I mean, looking at something like screenshots of Border Down, one could easily think it was a sub-par R-Type rip-off. Obviously, it wasn't that, nor was Under Defeat a sub-par *fill-in-your-choice-of-vert-here* rip-off, either.MX7 wrote:Could be. All I got from the screens was a sub par Touhou rip-off though. Still, I have faith in G-Rev
Yeah, but I've seen this one move. It's Triangle Service quality. Now admittedly Ilvello turned out way better than it's loke test version (not graphically, but there's enough there to interest me).Exactly. I mean, looking at something like screenshots of Border Down,

You have, now? Hmm. Care to share the link to it in motion? Or did you just see it in your area on test or something? If you've seen it in motion, then you have a bit more than just screen shots to go by, in which case, your argument holds more sway, I'd say.GaijinPunch wrote:Yeah, but I've seen this one move. Here's a little video on youtube:boagman wrote:You have, now? Hmm. Care to share the link to it in motion?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
Ass only, I'm afraid.BulletMagnet wrote: C'mon, isn't there a USB port in your skull someplace?
http://www.gamengai.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5757#15757I'd really like to hear more opinions on Ilvello already.

Hey, thank you *so much* for providing this link. I had tried looking on YT earlier, but failed miserably because I didn't think to include "location" or "test" or anything so obvious as that. I'm so glad to have been able to see the thing in motion.320x240 wrote:Here's a little video on youtube:boagman wrote:You have, now? Hmm. Care to share the link to it in motion?

It doesn't look particularly good but fun all the same. It's more like an overhead run & gun though. I guess you can lock the direction of fire by holding the button, like in Shock Troopers et al.
